I own one of those pirate systems...in the N64 controller. You know, with a little bit of elbow grease (just some rewiring and soldering), you can make it run Japanese Famicom games. From the cartridge! You know in certain NES games, they have converters, which take the Japanese game board and make it so it works in an NES cartridge slot? Gyromite is one I always used. Well it is really a makeshift Famicom cartridge connector my next goal with this "toy" is to figure out a way to add on support for an actual controller. If I can disable built in controlls and make my own circuit to an original controll port...a pseudo-portable Famicom, anyone? ^^;

Edit: Oh, and, Matt! If you don't own an NES, don't sell that!! Keep it there are so many great games for it that you can play. And the games are cheap, too! You just need to look in the right place.

Edit edit: Who streched the tables?

Mmmhm! They were in alot of games, actualy. I don't remember all of them, as I've always used Gyromite for my connector needs (I'm not kidding, I bought at least 5 Gyromite games for about 12 dollars at this one yard sale years ago just for that )

Even though it isn't Pokemon specific, a link wouldn't kill us I guess

But the thing is, he DIDN'T mean this kind of intricate editor of sorts. He really was just asking a newcomer question, I really do not think he is even capable of grasping the concepts mentioned in this thread. And if you think otherwise...really, just..I'm not trying to be mean to the poor guy, but can we be realistic =|

He...did. Insectduel, I've asked you a couple of times now, pleeease try to watch your posts. You have a knack for not adding anything to threads, so before posting in one of my forums (or anyone here, really..), please, think. Am I adding anything to the topic? Does my post make sense? If your answers are no, then I'd recomend you didn't post.

Missingno.'s also sounded like Nidoran M., but slightly shorter and broken. It has to just be a coincidence..

If anyone knows any, could you PM me?

Yes, unfortunately.

Altough the main foes of SML3 was named Gooms in the mariomonsters.com website. Pirate goom which has a sword, and wandering goom which is only wandering.

The little wandering white guys were Critters, I thought...the one with the pointy tips were Spear Guys, and I know a few others had official names. Captain Syrup was also very prominent, she needs to come back >.< one of the first women Mario villains ._.;;

Yeeea...some of them have similar or the same cry (Rhydon and Charizard? ), I guess that was just what Go Ichinose wanted to do for the cries. Some use a similar pattern (Dratini and Bulbasaur line), some sound similar, but they did a good job of making them all uniquely different (except for Rhydon and Charizard )

No. Rhydon has the same cry as Charizard make a recording, play them right next to eachother (or put them both in your party and choose hit down after viewing one)..I just know they are the same. When I lived at home, I was forced to eat, sleep, and breath useless Pokemon facts. I know what I'm talking about, sadly

LCD screens will do that...but the touch screen, you need to hit it pretty hard to do that. I'd be a little more careful with my DS if I were you

Its just something funny I always noticed no other two Pokemon share cries, though some have very similar ones (think Seel/Hitmonchan, Lickitung/Dewgong, Caterpie/Goldeen and especially Golem/Koffing!)

EDIT: OH MY GOD. Yes, I meant Rhyhorn >.<;! Ahhhhg...Soooo sorry ^^

Actualy....upon close observation, they ARE believe it or not different It is the ryhtm in which their cries are...in some cases, the cries were intended to fit the "rythm" of the Japanese names (but tell me who Psydon and Lizardon are phoneticly identical, TELL ME )..buuut, yes. that is another one who is really similar...listen to Goldeen/Caterpie, or Golem/Koffing or...this one is especially weird, Paras/Parasect and Mewtwo/Mew. No really! Them especially! I mean..they too almost sound the same.

Edit: and the other cry you were thinking about was Jigglypuff (Puurin)

Right, right. The patterns are just similar. But I thought I would point it out for people to play around with and see for themself Also Golem and Koffing...Golem is a faster and shorter Koffing, I'd have thought it was easier to pick up ._.;; oh well!

Well, some of the cries are meant to reflect the Japanese name. Some do not.....Lapras is an example (La-pu-ra-su seems like it phoneticly fits but when you use Japanese pronounciation, its pronounced just like 'Lapras')

Stadium was made by the Gamfreak crew, yes Colloseum was made by a different company. The thing in that is that either Ichinose or Masuda (I think it was the second guy...) decided to redo the cries in a "realistic" style in the Stadium games. Notice? The sounds they make, are all similar to their GB cries But alot of things I did not like in the Stadium series. You changed color depnding on your Pokemon, ID number, nickname, and other insignificant factors. It conflicted with shiny colors, and actual shiny Pokemon came out weird. Colloseum uses the GBC cries, just like the advanced games did...and the GBA ones for the Hoenn Pokemon. The owl cry you meant is Noctowl, no? In japan, that Pokemon is known as Yoronosuku
