| Ha, I forgot about Counter Break Y. Icegoom, if you should have any particular powerup hacking done, I'd be happy to make a special-order Counter Break or something. | |||

| Heart attack. When I have to possibly die I want to possibly die NOW, dammit! I don't have time for no chemo.
Dr. Robotnik or Dr. Wily? |

| GNU Parted. Gonna see if I can get myself a nice linux partition and setup the MBR so I don't have to deal with the floppy disk to boot. | |||

| If a hack was made entirely with graphics like that (and not that particular graphic, because that one is hilariously lame) it would probably look quite cool. If a graphic like that is ever mixed with other sprites, though, that's a recipe for disaster. Be careful. | |||

| Today.
Today I shall be KING. Oh, you can keep your ACS for the rest of eternity, I'll go back to lurking and being generally disinterested. But not today. Today I am king. |

| I liked Game Makers. G4's got a lot of lame to it, but if it doesn't succeed, is that the end of video game television channels? Without them, who will bring back Super Mario cartoons for kitschy value? I will not let that dream die!

| Ever played SMB? How many powerups did you have in that game? And how good was SMB? | |||

| Yeah, that new twinkle star is way scarier. Wouldn't it be awesome if there was an animated gif of the old twinkle star that, for a split second, jumps to that even weirder one so quickly you're not even sure that you saw it?
Twinkle Star is awesome screamer material. It's like there's nothing he can't do, except, apparently, turn someone into a good singer. |

| Capes and Yoshi do take away from a hack. The Fire Flower, which was actually kinda hard to get and keep, wasn't game-skippingly useful or take-a-million-hits useful like they are. It fit. These, which also allow you to go back and restock each time you lose said powerup, don't fit at all. | |||

| SMW wasn't balanced or fun. Yoshi was a good addition because where SMW didn't have more solid gameplay it had new, mildly interesting surprise elements like Yoshi or the secret exit filled overworld that other Mario games didn't have.
Of course, you don't have that luxury, hackers. SMW was a buggy game that couldn't stand up to its predecessors when it was new, and now it doesn't even have that lustrous sheen anymore. Now is when you have to rely on superior balance to make the game fun, or else you've got crap. Yoshi and capes are a liability the way they are, allowing you to take them anywhere and keep them forever. They certainly don't make good levels designed for powerless Mario more fun. | I am about to reveal the secret behind all operating systems. Listen closely.
Are you ready? They're all the fucking same. Linux running X windows system, Mac OS. They're all just a bunch of windows strewn about a desktop with things on the desktop you can click, rename, etc. There's directories. There's executables. Look under the hood and most API calls, if different, are all designed to accomplish the same things. Everybody uses the same command line directory system too. Oh, and browsers, guess what? | hehe is trademarked now? I better switch to a public domain cackle.
Also... If Acmlm's an Enigma, does that make Xkeeper The Final Battle? Pick one, I've got a million of 'em. |

| Fantastic.
Are you paying attention, Xk and company? You should totally use that scary star the next time the subject of various star twinklery comes up. And use it everywhere, when we least expect it. Or most expect it. Or whenever. |

| You're right, they could get in a fair bit of trouble for that. It'd be nice to have an entertainment company suing neo-nazis for a change, though. | |||

| Safeway because.... what? Dr. Robotnik had TONS of evil clones in S&K, IIRC. In fact... Er, nevermind. Dr. Wily vs. Dr. Robotnik is a touchy subject for me, shouldn't have brought it up...
