| Thread labelled Tweezers as I thought 'approval' was a little cliche/overrated and there are in fact a pair of tweezers for whatever reason sitting on my computer desk.
I'm (clearly) new to the forums. I found this place from a google search, as I was searching for a program that wasn't inoperable in place of Spread. But it seems i'm stuck with that, :/. I'm not very reliable. I can never join a forum and keep active. But I wanted to join this one and post around, see how the community is and whatnot, make some friends, some enemies, and see if I want to stay. The last forum I stayed at... they were all total $!$@ers. Obviously i'm not expecting anyone here to conform to my standards but at least try not to start a flame war with me as the central target because my dog isn't neutered -.-. I'm a big pokemon fan. Veeery big. I hack games, I sprite, I code, I draw them irl.. y'know, just your average fanatic. I use VBA, and GBASP. I've seen some awesome glitches in my time, and taken so many screenshots that I had to put them in a zip folder to save space. Mario is hawt. As you may have already established, i'm pretty random. I've been asked countless times but countless admins to quit spamming and believe me, it's not intentional. Occationally I come out with some profoundness, and other times I just quote Dr Suess. I enjoy making wordses upers. I'm emo. Lol. No really, I listen to the music and dress that way. But i'm happy. I'm also bisexual, but the latter came years before the former. I have a short fuse. I'm sorry, but I do. It doesn't take much to offend me, and I know some awesome comebacks. I'm quite proud of that. I also adore 'yo mama' jokes. I'm pretty good at impersonating illiterates and noobs, from my separate life on furcadia where I go and irritate the helper beekins with such wonderful questions as, 'wots furc' and 'how do u yiff'. That second one sometimes gets me ejected from Naia Green however xD. Here's some smilies I use: >< >> -.- :3 x3 =3 =D ;3  :/ >3 xD 
I dispise the pixel smilies. I really do. I resent using them greatly, and would much sooner sand blast my skin off than produce a goofy looking smiley. So yeah, that's me in a coconutshell. Thanks for reading this, can't wait to be a fully fledged part of your forum, if you'll have me ;3. Also, is my name 'red' or 'pink', because I did read something about not applying if your name is red... | Well I don't worry so much about hair. I only shave my armpits and legs, and pluck mah eyebrows occationally. I actually have very fine, short gold hairs on my stomach and back which I think are better left where they are than get shaved and grow back ten times as thick and have to keep doing it. Hair -elsewhere- I daren't shave in case I cut myself. Plus I prefer the cover it gives me, I feel naked and bald without >/.
I do my underarms and legs though with hair removal cream because I hate razors. Yes, it does leave them bumpy, but that fades. |

| I don't have a lot of sympathy for obese people, if it's self inflicted. People with an illness that causes it, I can sympathise with them for the prejudice they receive, for it's not their fault.
But with today's increasingly obese population, people are looking for the easy solution, stomach reductions, lypo, that kind of thing. The problem with that, is, that they soon be able to get in on the national health service for free, here in britain. Meaning our taxpayers are paying for people who are overweight to lose weight. What the heck? Fair enough if it's not your fault, but for people who just eat for the sake of eating? We shouldn't be paying for others' gluttony. I'm neither underweight nor overweight, so I would hope that my opinion isn't biased. It's just that I don't particularly want to grow up in a world where I'll be forced to hand over my hard earned cash to fund other people's eating habits. I'm not sure who'd pay for a dude's stomach reduction in America though. If it's them and their family, that could be fair enough. In the way of people being prejudiced... I'd never judge someone by their appearance. I don't do it. I don't go up to a bald guy and ask him if his head is cold, or a gay guy and ask them if my shoes look okay. Similarly, it's nobody else's business how people eat. So long as the population isn't paying for your obesity, I say eat all you like. |

| One would hope that an obese person not comfortable with his or her appearance would attempt to make an effort to lose weight. People say they have tried everything and cannot; that would either be because of an illness or a slow metabolism. Again, not their faults. But in the case of people who decide to go on a diet, and get exercise and whatnot.... there is a lot of willpower involved. If you're expecting to shed pounds overnight and by wishing them away, you're not going to get very far.
I lack sympathy for those too lazy to even try. Who go straight for the easy option because of their own doing they managed to get insanely obese. I mean, all humans eat for the sake of eating. We can happily live for years on one or two meals a day but we have three, or four! Animals eat to live, humans live to eat. I know these people need treating, obvious we don't want people running around with heart, artery and blood problems, due to their obesity. But when people think, 'Ah, scroo it. I may as well just eat what I like because whatever happens to me, my doctor can just prescribe me medicine/send me in for an operation and it'll go away so it doesn't matter.' People need to see that they are not just free to throw away their lives because it affects other people, too. Rather selfish, i'd say. As for people having a larger energy requirement... that might be so. I can see how dragging around the weight total equivalent of two or three extra people could make one rather tired. But then supposing they were able to lose weight as any other person does, they'd perhaps eat foods that gave them energy but not extra fat. Or even just grit their teeth and bear it, if they truly wanted to lose weight. If it is not a person's fault that they are obese and need treatment(drugs, pregnanc, ect) then yes, they do deserve treatment. But no one else has any excuse, I think. My point is, that you people can't stuff themselves with sweets, cakes and fast food then look to surgery as a quick fix when they get fat. That's wrong, on so many levels, in my opinion. |
