Indeed, Live the fun posting experience isn't a good one... I can't even find a good sentence to express that in Spanish... "Vive la divertida experiencia de postear/escribir mensajes"

I like arwon's one, tought.

Easy as cake. If you decide that one maybe I'll record it

Posted on 11-20-05 07:03 AM, in Christmas List Link
I'm getting a new bass soon, as an advanced christmas present. It will be a Musicman or Fender Jazzbass... I'm going soon to check the shop. That will be a GOOD bass, not the koren/chinese junk that I played since june, which BTW is at luthier's because it has a piece broken... well.

AND BTW TODAY I WILL KNOW IF IT'S DAMN REPAIRED YET!!! ARGH IF I HAVE TO WAIT ONE MORE WEEK!!!

Oh, BTW, a cusious point:
Here in Spain, in the past, only got presents at 6th January (when the Magician Kings of East finally got to Belem to see the little new-born kid, and gave him gold and two more things that I can't say in English and I'm too lazy to pick the dictionary that I have at my left), but then Coca-cola arrived with the red Santa Claus thing and brough to Spain the American tradition of giving presents the 25th. Now we got presents two days :O.

Posted on 11-23-05 12:36 PM, in What caused you to be here at Acmlm's Board? Link
It was during the time I was a n00b in pokémon hacking... I was helping a guy with sprites and other stuff I could do on his hack, and he said me he found this place, where the creator of Elitemap was, as well as other goooooooood hackers, so we decided to look for things and ask for others here. So here I am. Anyway, I was lucky that that happened before kawa's "n00b hunt"... I did no newbie post. ^_-

it's not in the list, so you have to write it by raw. It's configured this way

0x45 iItem iQuantity (item is two bytes)

So, you'll have to write it this way on your script:
'Each raw has one byte

#raw 0x45
#raw 0x__ '} first byte for the objetc (it's byteswapped)
#raw 0x__ '} second byte for the object
#raw 0x__ '}quantity. mostly 1. I think it goes like that, because 00 (i think) had no effect. I didn't try with values over 01 so I don't know if it's that (if it weren't it would read 01 as a nop, y'know

I trust that you know how to byteswap. Anyway, I will explain it fastly for this case.
Imagine the object is number 0x0123 (remember it has to be hex). Then separate it into byte-groups (2 numbers each) and invert the order of those bytes. --> 0x23 0x01
so in the iItem #raws you will have to write #raw 0x23 and #raw 0x01, in that order.

And if with finished you mean "FULLY 100% MY PERCENTAGE PWNZ Y'ALL PEOPLE", they're soooooo a few hacks done... in fact, as far as I know, the current global number of done_100%_decent_hacks is... 0. although I am finishing mine really soon (just gotta do some sprites), after a year and 1/4 of progress. You'll see a topic about febreuary, I think.

Anyway, the best for a hack si to be released, although it's in a Beta version or something, and it needs not to be shit.

Why can be a hack consideered shit?
--- idiot map editings. For example, change the grass tiles of petalburg for the sandy ones (and don't even edit the other tiles wheere there's grass. Maps need to be coherent.

---no text editions. That sucks.

---No trainer editions. You can leave some, but ALL... no thanks.

---crappy pokemon editions. It is good to leave all the original pokémon . If you can't do new ones, just don't do them!

Lol. Maybe he asks it exactly as before and gets banned again...

Just kidding.

Oh and I think I got an answer.
Pictures exported in unlzgba don't always got the pallete in the game. Using a decent image editor (decent != MSpaint), maybe you got an option to edit the pallete of the picture (because that image HAS a pallete. a 256 one where only the 16 first have relevance (actually it's 16 colors, but unlzgba works this way) and only those shall be used). Ok, look for the pallete in the game and edit the pallete of the picture

Normally the bombs that explode are the ones that arent warned: the 11-S in NY, the 11-M in Madrid.. did the bombings in London were warned?

However, here in Spain there are terrorists (ETA) and they explode a bomb from time to time, warning previously. Some are little, others not... but they warn before.
