| I played hide and seek when I was 11. About 20+ people from the street were playing. There were 3 people who were hunting everyone down. My friend Trevor was a tall skinny guy (He was HUGE compared to me, 6 ft tall vs 4'11").
I was running from a few guys who got tagged, there was a dark area with a long flimsy pinetree. I thought I'd hide in between the wall of the house and the tree. Before I could reach the spot, Trevor jumped from 10 feet and scared the hell outta me! I screamed 5 times in a row before he pushed me to the ground. I just lied there quiet and he laughed his ass off. |

Gender: Male Age: ? Height: 6'5" Weight: 250lbs Appearence: -Eyes: Right eye is red, bionic implant used for sniping targets. The other eye is brown. -Hair: short white hair -Outfit: SWAT team uniform with a kevlar mask and black cap -Alt. Outfit: SWAT bdus with flash grenades wrapped around the waist. He wears a white shirt with a dogtag hanging from his neck. He doesn't wear a mask. Weapons: -Holds a custom 1911 Colt -Weilds a large silver hunting knife -Armed with flame and flash grenades -Wears kevlar armor History: A former soldier of Tririft who patrolled the dark streets of Empire City. He has been the bodyguard for the sydicate since the corruption of the law began. His military tactics and inhuman strength gave him high authority over the citizens of Empire City. He is the highest ranked soldier of the Tririft and ECPD. Melee Attacks: -Slash: Does massive damage to opponents with low endurance. Minimal damage to strong opponents. -Flash and Flame: Two grenades drop at once. The opponent has a 50% chance of evading the flash but takes the fire damage. -Headshot: Opponents without head armor or agility die instantly. Judas shoots the gun 3 times. Abilities: -Immune to pierce and missile attacks -Resistant to fear by 75% -Weak against fire -Shaker: Drops a flash grenade and slits the opponent's throat. Opponents dodging the flash have a 25% chance of avoiding a critical hit. Failure to do so results in death. -Camoflage: Cloaks himself. Opponents with high intelligence can see him. Desperation Attack: -Heli-evasion: He calls in the chopper and jumps into it. The character must dodge the machine gun and attack the chopper to resume fighting Lieutenant Judas. The chopper takes several hits. The weakpoint to the chopper is the gas tank near the tail. Flame and explosive attacks deal great damage to the chopper. The chopper is fast and spews out hundreds of large bullets and missiles from the front. The propellar kills solid flesh opponents. |

After submitting a few of my works here, I just have to ask everyone a few questions... I ask because frankly, I have had doubts that this is the right audience for my art. At this point, I'd rather get a "Your art sucks" than no reply at all... It disappoints me because I feel that many people here are intelligent and mature enough to appreciate what I drag out. I may just need to limit myself to DeviantArt from now on. I'll wait and see... 
So... + What do you consider art? + What do you look/care for? --design --creativity --technique --detail --effort --neatness *etc* + How do you usually interpret art? + What is art? --A bunch of code. --A bunch of rips collaged together. --Something unique. --Something visually appealing. *etc* How does html and different colored borders fit into the art category? What kind of art appeals to you? What elements do you appreciate most? --Linework --Patterns --Forms *etc* How important do you think a critique is? In other words, what value do you place it upon when you're the one giving a critique? For other artists and "artists"... Do you really seek improvement in your own skills? --If not, why are you still making "art"? What purpose do you pursue in your creations? How much effort do you put into your work and what duration of time working on your project is considered hard work? Big questions in large quantities, I know... but I'd like to find out from everyone who has submitted something here. I work for compatability in art and any replies to my questions would help me out alot.

| There is this blue aloe vera that you can find in a Wal-mart in the beauty and hygene section. That stuff will cool your skin down every hour you take it and help heal the burns. It's smells awesome and feels cool. | |||

But there are a few games I play... When I call my lady and she says, "Lemmie put you in the speaker box" I say stuff like... "No! Don't trap me in there!" "It's nice and cozy, get out of my box house!" "I'm dancing in the box... trapped in the stupid box!" "Box-a-box-a-box-a-box-a-speaker..." whisper: "Hey! I'm cooking a pizza in here. What do you think I should put on it?" Some funny ones you could use when they start with small talk... Your target says, "So what's your name?" You say, "Uh, my real name?" <- answer with a question to dominate the converstation She giggles and says, "Yes!" You answer with a celebrity name or something, "Jackie Chan! No, that's my other name... Jet Li? Uh... which one do you like?" |

| I don't wanna sound insecure but there ARE several weirdos around my area, half of them ARE armed. Just in case the cops are too slow and the situation worsens, I have a 1911 colt under my top bed cushion (I can pull that out and switch the safety off in less than 3 seconds). There are less conventional alternatives too...
I have a collection of large knives and machetes there too (for very dire situations). If I were to simply spook the burglar into getting out, I'd sneak in the darkest spots and trip the guy with a baseball bat (one hanging by my bed). If I knew for sure the guy wasn't armed and he's about average size, I'd grab my large machete and lurch toward him just for a scare. I'd grab the crook and slam him on the couch and smack him with the side of the cold machete asking for my stuff back. |

I really think that in retrospect, people worked to carve shit like this out. It's probably fun to anyone with an IQ less than 3 but really... if this is a "sign" in a piece of food, then what the hell is it? Maybe they should get St.Benedict to determine such "oddities"? Unoriginal and not really news. |

| The portrayal of the image in your sketch was well-executed, especially with the quick lines. Besides the picture itself, the lines resemble your style of work: quick, wavy, segmented lines. If you want to step it up a notch, I'd suggest cleaner lines so your viewers can determine the significant and insignificant figures quickly. I believe you can produce some excellent linework over this image. Successful. | |||
