Defend the old retro foundation Nintendo has set, but don't get too worked up about something you haven't yet tried. I agree though, he's a lamer for saying that Nintendo (assuming this was a general statement) sucks. He needs a boot up his ass but don't get in trouble over it.  |

| Currently working on an online gaming community with Hypergannon. Our purpose for this is top secret. I'm currently a sophomore in college. I want to study business in order to invest my earnings properly and dual-major in Art and Webdesign.

| Why is it particularly "interesting"? Seriously, have you all missed that much or are you trying to win brownie points, insisting "yes" without reason? I see nothing different and peter_ac seems to be the only one to pull it off, not by biast opinion but because he's adopted this style of level design (which you failed to imitate btw) almost a year ago. I didn't intend on shooting down your first effort though, keep this in mind. Just try to make something at LEAST look new.
Outside of that: I'm just irritated to see that few are willing to come up with anything new or innovative in the past 6-8 months. I know a lot of newbies get pissed at me (look at my rating) just because I give my honest opinion. Small minds (you know who you are) as small minds tend to do, become engraged at the slightest poke of criticism. Just in case you misunderstood my points, I apologise in advance. |

Rushing is good, even if you're playing a '2v2 nr20min' game, it's always fun to change the format a little (bs a bit). Also for terran, you can keep your defenses up by finding a choke on your base at the beginning. Build a bunch of 'Supply Depots' in the choke as a wall. Add bunkers and barracks (1-3) in the choke. Put in some Siege tanks to get the tough enemies and build turrets to guard the tanks. You should hold out long enough to go air. (edited by [GGS] Cruel Justice on 11-24-05 08:04 PM) |

| The only issue of saving as a jpg in ms paint seems to be the unusual grittiness after conversion. Photoshop does not produce grit when saving as jpg. I never understood that exactly. | |||

I'd like to use a program that can convert .lwo or .3dm into an FPS engine. I tried that years ago and it's not bad. I'm really good at modelling in Lightwave but all the good stuff unfortunately costs an arm and a leg.  |
