Your Level Viewer doens't run

If I open a Mario Kart 64 Rom it displays "incorrect ROM or Byte Order".
U , V1.0 , V1.1 don't work at this MK viewer!

what I am doing wrong ?

I have only this US Version "MarioKart64(US).v64" (12MB)

Q: What are the differences betwean "v64" and "rom" Files.

Q: Where I can download "Mario Kart 64 (U) [!].rom"

To change V64 to Roms you need a Programm: "fliprom.exe" or "Tool64_v1.11.exe"!
"Tool64_v1.11" is better.
(I surfed in internet and found a page that have useful downloads)

and the Level Viewer of HyperHacker works!

your Level Viewer is good!

Q: I already have "Super Smash Bros Melee.iso", but i can't find a good
emulator for that. I need a Gamecube-Emu, where I can get them?

I'm 17 and i work on Super Smash Bros 64.
Three years ago i have made lot of Maps for C&C Renegade.
Now i 'edit' SSB 64,
i know 40% of the Rom. Have made many test hacks, for example:
Background, Textures, change Levels, ...

PS: Have put Replys in Mario Kart.
Now i can't put Replys here

No i don't have Nemu, i use only these 4 Programms:
Project64, tool64, Hex Workshop 4.2 and CorelDRAW 12

I start by 0, now I know 40%.

*How I edit the Background of Smash Brothers:

In the middle of the Data there are many Textures kompressed
at 0x1B3690 - 0x6F42E0.
Like: backgrounds, player textures, letters, animations, ...

explosions, flammes, stars, ... are not kompressed 0xAB02D0 - 0xB277C0.

You must first dekompress the Data and then you can edit the texture

Background-Textures load 2 Bytes for 1 Pixel
Example:
$xy

$FFFF white
$3131 dark blue
$0909 dark green
$3589 light green
$3535 Cyan
...

you can put instead of boring colours photos or pictures,
but the pictures must be in 16-bit colour and not longer than 250 Pixels!
The texture width for backgrounds must contain 300 Pixels! (maximal Size 300x250)

A small programm or a big one?

try the antivirus programm Kaspersky Lab
Kaspersky Lab is good

PS: Norton for me is too bad, because the programm are not so effective
and it displays to many messages.

Xoft Spy is very good for detecting Spyware and Adware, but there
are per weak one update

I don't need a stuff folder, because i use a USB Stick and there i put my work and
folders they are classified.
Why? -> It is safety.
