| That actually isn't too bad. I was going to say that you should add more obstacles or enemies, but I guess its fine considering that it's only the first level.
If I were you, I would change the overworld. I don't really like the original one. |

| Blocktool has the block that I need, but it doesn't seem to work right.
It's the block that acts like a ? block with a springboard inside. It's set to act like the cement block. It's graphics are set to those of the ? blocks, and since it changes into the next block in the Map16 data, I set the next one to a brown "used" block. My dillema, however, is that the block shows up invisible. It is still there, and you can walk on it/be stopped by it. When you hit it from below, the column of tiles above it gets glitchy for a second, and Mario dissapears, then the springboard appears on top of a brown block with Mario on top of it. Note, as I said, he was below it. What is this all about? Also, I'm looking for a block that kills Mario unless he is fire Mario. (edited by ibz10g on 09-25-06 09:48 PM) |

| A song? To me no good games really have songs, just main themes. I like most of the Super Mario themes (But I absolutely hate the SMB theme).
The ones that stand out to me most are the SMW theme (Piano), or the Bob-Bomb level from SM64. I would never actually listen to these on my MP3, though. |

Here is an early screenshot of a cave level. I still need to change the background.
I think the ground tuned out allright, but I still think it needs work. The sprites and FG I'm working on, shown in an earlier post, won't be implemented until later. |

| I am sad now. the 29th will soon be over, and nowhere may this editor be found. I'm not mad, but I'm not like "oh dang. It wasn't released today. Better luck tomorrow."
I was lurking around the board since about 10 days before the eleged release of the editor (June 21st), and I finally joined the board on August 12th. I have since moved on and not followed this discussion pretty much at all, but I would still like to see what this thing can do (knowing, of course, that it cannot edit polygons). |

| Happy 10th birthday, N64! Along with that, Super Mario 64 as well.
Let us not forget all of the good times it brought us, and some of the bad too *coughglovercough*. Let us not forget all of the theories and conspiracies it shared, good and bad. But most of all, let us not forget the countless hours we spent playing in a poorly rendered 3D arena with up to four people, and rimble pak support. (edited by ibz10g on 09-29-06 07:53 PM) |

| I figure, they've done everything else, why not lacrosse? It's not an idea, more like just something to mock all the other ideas they've done. I sincerely hope they do not do this. | |||

| That was good 3D at the time, sure. Looking back, not so much comparing it to games released today.
I absolutely despised glover. I got really pissed off at the prehistoric levels and really never played it again. The game I most remember playing was Goldeneye. I noticed a bunch of the beta stuff before I found out what it really was on the internet. Then there was Pokemon Stadium. That's the game I got my N64 with. Of course, I was like 9, and Pokemon was godlike to me. I think it was a good idea, but it got completely ruined by the card game and TV show. |

| Hm. If you were to do a player 1/2 separate gfx, then I guess it could be doable. I mean, in the the current Super Mario GFX, his head barely reaches halfway up the top tile.
Here's what I mean:
The red lines indicate the available space for creating Wario/Waluigi's tiles. You could easily make Waluigi, but Wario might prove to be difficult. I S'pose you don't need him to be like a big fat guy, like in SWL: SML3. (edited by ibz10g on 10-02-06 07:42 PM) |

| Well I've already put to work on the ACMLM Adventure. I'm far enough that I don't really want to start something else.
Edit: Although, here's what they might look like in SMW. Note those are YY-CHR colors, so they could be differently modified in Lunar Magic. ![]() (edited by ibz10g on 10-02-06 09:31 PM) |

| Yes. I never usually go in here either way, but from what I've seen, there are definately a lot of people who could benefit from proving that they can post in here. I can't really come up with a reason why I would say no. | |||

| I like it. What I don't like is how each character will "turn into" another one. I don't really know a less time consuming way to do that, though.
But I like it. |
