A powerup to allow Jason to jump higher and survive larger falls would be neet.
A way to allow Jason to teleport back to the tank or have the tank teleport back to the level entrace (yea this is probably hard). Double shot: shoot foward and up at the same time. Or even make the ability for Jason to recover health when he gets into the tank a powerup instead of automatic. |

Wouldn't this hack allow someone to go from black wizard to red wizard, but keep all the spells that are forbidden to a red wizard? | |||

I'm mainly do programming (java/c#/c++), but I do like to do hacking from time to time. I've written simple gba demos, and even gone as far has hacking the graphics of a title screen (the title screen was compressed using standard compression, and I used gfx2gba to help me compress the image, then just used some simple pointer redirection to put in a new title screen). I also did some MZM hacking which is now obsolete since an editor is out that did everything I did.
I don't have any projects right now, I mainly just want to be able to give useful advice or help out when possible. The only thing I'm doing right now is beta testing the English translation of La-Mulana (which I hope to announce/advertise here once its released, unless someone beats me to it) . PS I'm heading off for Thanksgiving break, and might not be able to reach internet for a while, so if I have a delayed response, please be patient. |

Just an FYI that La-Mulana has been translated and can be downloaded at:
http://agtp.romhack.net/lamulana.html Only the manual and game is translated, the editor and music player is not. |

The shops are still in Japanesse!
Maybe you didn't apply the patch correctly, since the shops are working ok for me. Wait-wuh? If it's a freeware game then it's clearly a PC game right? Why is it in ROM hacking? We bend the rules a tad, for the same reason we talk about hacking Playstation games (Playstation uses CD format). There is a level editor for the game, although it is not translated, you could use it to make some pretty neet adventures without having to implement your own engine. |

Ok... lets not get caught up on a technicality; I just wanted to give an example of how the term "rom hack" has evolved.
Play the game. Have fun. It really is a lot of fun! |

If you don't think this topic belongs here, then bring it up with the moderators. If you want to discuss the defination and use of the term "ROM", please do so in another discussion.
For the rest of us: A lot of work went into this translation and a huge amout of work went into this game. I love this game, I've beaten it several times. All I ask is that you try it, you won't be disapointed. |
