It's called hardware video overlay. It's used by most media players to improve performance, however, you can't take screenshots of it. If you do take a screenshot and paste it in paint, you will just se a black slightly purple (color #100010) square. Now the funny thing about this is that if the square is at the same place on the screen as the video that's being played, you will actually see the video play in that square. I'm not entirely sure why this happens.

The color might be different from computer to computer... But yes, that's what I'm saying. Try taking a screenshot of the video, pasting it in paint and then have the video playing behind the window.

Go ahead.

Spoiler tag or layout. What does it matter? One or both of them are made with some bad code. I mean... it's still bad coding.

In this case, however, I'd blame the layout as the spoiler tag is just a div with black background and black text. The layout then tells the div to stretch which, from my point of view, is not the fault of the spoiler tag.

@Skydude: About your spoiler tags... the only thing it takes to fix them is actually closing your font tag again. Like... just add </font> at the beginning of your footer.

If you ask me, smoke = bad. I actually find it kinda disgusting. It might have something to do with that many of my friends smoke. Like not all the time, but I've seen it several times. I kinda feel like they've betrayed me, but it's their decision, really. And I know that, I just can't stand to be there when it happens. Makes me kinda sad to think about it. I mean, actually they are starting to kill themselves already.

I've actually heard that every cigarette you smoke makes your life 5 minutes shorter...

The one to the far right, the S-Video cable. If your TV has a plug for it, it would probably be the best solution since it delivers better image quality than composite (the cable with yellow plugs). It might also just show up as b/w, and then you will have to use composite.

It's quite simple, actually. Just connect the cable from the back of your computer to your TV... but I guess you could figure that out.

If you want sound too, you will have to buy (if you don't already have one) a minijack - phono cable. They look like this.

If your television doesn't have any phono/composite/S-Video inlets, you will have to buy a SCART adapter like this.

I don't know if that caused more confusion than... well... You might recognize the yellow (composite), white (left audio), and red (right audio) phono plugs. Like, if you have a Nintendo or another console. Cause, I mean, it's the same way it works.

You dont have to close the tag before the spoiler tag. Just put </font> at the start of your footer. It worked when I tested it. I don't know how closing a tag properly (ahem ) fixes this, but it seems that it does.
