It's pronounced lepersy if you're drunk. So it would appear the Kyouji has some explaining to do for his lack of drunkenness.

So... uh... does Windows use WMF files as a middle man format for display? I don't see how this would be that dangerous b/c i haven't seen a file with a .wmf extension in ages. Wouldn't it be best to make patches that filter out .wmf files?

I didn't mean a filter for the file extension. As you have put it I meant reading from the internal header of the file.

I'm gonna go look around for patches in the meantime. They said it might be a week before Microsoft makes one.

Well if it's a local address the odds are in 1 in 2^14 technically. But good find nonetheless.

You're forgetting that the code is in a LoRom game, which only uses half the bank. The other half is RAM, and well... good luck trying to get RAM to stay consistent.

Well you could use GSD and play for quite a while to see if there are any writes/reads of the given location. Other than that it is quite difficult to say for certain that a given address is unused. You'd have to have a complete grasp of everything that the game can possibly do.

If you are concerned about your morals, that is your own business. I think it's best if you are troubled about it, to think about it in depth. What kind of person do you want to be, and how will these actions affect you? Does it matter to you how your family and friends would perceive it? Do you understand all the risks involved in sex? Personally, I think you're way too young to be getting involved in sex. Everybody I've met who did it that early said they regretted it b/c it was pretty meaningless lust. But again that's your decision.

My honest opinion is that you are... a fool. I don't mean that in a nasty way. It's just some people take graduation seriously (parents), and you might piss them off. Even if you're enthusiastic about gra-gee-ate-ing, you might give off a pretty silly and inappropriate vibe.

Btw if I saw you wearing that I would probably challenge you to a round of push hands. (I used to do T'ai C'hi.)

Gotta go with embarassing, as long as it's not televised or anything.

Gross can get bad... I've seen fear factor and... no.

Something life risking is stupid b/c I could work a few weeks at a job and earn $1000.

Speaking of Zelda 3 editors... I'm making slow progress on mine. but progress still.

I can't remember what image this corresponds to but it's in one of the 4bpp sprite packets, along with explosions and the skull for when enemies die. First step is to get functional dungeon editing and copying .

Nah, he probably just has grammar below your expectations.

As for me, I usually can't stand to be with a girl who is unintelligent. The sex could be great but when we're grasping for straws on what to talk about later on it's just ... bleh. Though, a really nice outgoing personality can make up for that somewhat.

I generally like people who are not promiscuous, as I see that as a pretty negative quality. If a girl is slutty around me how is she around other guys? The same goes for guy friends, I don't want to go to the bar and hang out if all they're doing is hitting on the girls they find. Maybe that's just me but that's not why I go to bars.

As for the positive aspects I look for in anybody it's generally intellect, honesty, knowing how to conduct oneself properly in public, things of that sort. People who can just hang out as opposed to doing something at every godgiven moment is also a plus.

My guess would be to try 1CE800, as 1CE8000 is too large an offset for any SNES game (24 bit addressing). I think he made a typo.

The "technology" as you put it, is probably something any working SNES emulator would have. Why? okay let me try to explain this. The processor on the SNES has no built in graphics compression. So when you program a game, you have to manually code functions that will decompress the tiles and put them into memory. Some types of compression are more common than others, and hence become easy to recognize across different games.

When something like Lunar Compress is built, it is built to handle most types of decompression/recompression. But the way a programmer compresses his graphics is up to him - it doesn't have to be any algorithm people already know about. I looked at the code last night and it does appear to be decompressing it, but I didn't have time to go in depth last night, and i have to go to work right now.... so you'll have to wait until then. I might be able to make a quick program to work on them.
