Well four people agree with me. I guess that means it's time to spring into action eh?

The sad thing is that some Linux users might actually feel compelled to do it, just b/c of who he is.

I said some, not most. I've met quite a few Linus Torvalds fanboys in my day.

At work I've gone through like 3 pairs of pants in about 5 months, which considering I work 5 days a week at a restaurant isn't too surprising. However, I think there have to be better pants or prevention methods. I always get a rip in my right knee eventually. Can anybody suggest a brand that will last longest? I've heard Dickies are good.
(my usual pants are like $20 a pair at Walmart) (edited by MathOnNapkins on 12-13-05 03:09 PM) |

Just leave. If you love your mom you won't shut her out completely, but there is no need to keep yourself miserable when have a viable option to get away. My only concern is that she might become worse when left all to herself.

If I had the planning and foresight (and wasn't lazy) I suppose I could avoid using the dryer. But as for the RIGHT knee wearing out it's b/c that's the knee I support myself when I'm cleaning the floor (which has some nasty grout in between the tiles, I've cut myself on it before).

Did it ever occur to you that maybe she just wants to blow off steam by putting her thoughts into words? Nobody ever said you had to respond to your own threads. If you're expasperated by her, just don't reply.

The obvious answer is to delete all copies of SMW on your HD and infect all your programs with malicious virii.

If you view it in the complex plane, all infinities are the same, so you don't need a + or -. It's just a complex number with arbitrarily large modulus (radius).
It's nice to muse about what 1/0 is, but it's important that you keep in mind that you will have to make a new "algebraic" structure to put it in. The only reason you can't divide by zero in your typical number systems (they're called Rings and Fields) is that they simply were not designed with it in mind. You can't divide by zero in fields b/c by I had a thread in Lost Threads on the old board where I developed a system of how to work with 1/0 and powers of 1/0. That doesn't mean it's the only system. Small hacker's definition is built upon a logical deduction based on how you usually expect to handle numbers, but it will break your ring structure if you use it. edit again: btw, does anybody know why the Lost Threads are still restricted on the archive, whereas the staff forums aren't? To edit the graphics for the items that show up in the status screen you'll have to decompress them and edit them with a tile editor, then recompress them. Zcompress can help, but I'm not sure what happens if the edited version is larger (it might not fit, even after compressing).
edit: actually what I meant was if you wanted to edit the ones that are dictionary items as opposed to letters. The items that use "squished" looking text use special tiles that fit more letters into each tile. But if you want to edit items that don't use that kind of text, take Orochimaru's advice. Yeah it does have a dictionary. And you can edit it in Hyrule Magic.

MP7 has more stuff to shake up the standings, so it is a little more balanced in the sense that it evens the playing field for good players versus inexperienced players.
However I found the maps in MP6 more fun, and the overall feel of the game to be better. |

I know hyrule magic does leave a numeric stamp of some sort, so I definitely think it's possible. One way to check is to open a fresh rom, so a very minor edit, and do a file compare. Is there rom expansion? Are there any unusual ascii strings floating around, maybe near the beginning of the expanded region?
Also, does FuSoYa even come around anymore? He hasn't registered here from what I could tell. |

Piss on spoilers, and the I'm Naal, I like Fish thing is a reference to Lunar: Silver Story for PSX and Sega CD. It's a flying cat accompanies the main hero Alex through the whole game - and has some special powers. Not surprising given the name of the editor is LUNAR magic. Danielle: play like five minutes of Chrono Trigger and try to get a dual tech. That's what they're making up. |
