I could be wrong about this, but I do think if Jesus had had a child then it would have some affect on the Catholic church's doctrine. In particular, the idea that the priest is married to the Church, it is his bride. (And hence does not marry a woman.) As I recall, this is modeled after Jesus being without a wife, and instead married to the flock that is the church as a whole. And hence the very direct connection the priest has with the Trinity, and his ability to forgive sins. So from a theological point of view, I think it would have significant reverberations in that scheme.

He does kind of have a point :/.
Though from casually watching, the average YI hacker is usually a bit smarter than the average SMW hacker. |

I think the Church considers having sex any of the fun "extra" ways to be sinful. Isn't it called Missionary position for a reason? (I'd look up the history behind but I'm at work and don't want that showing up in google's bar on a computer other people use .)

So basically your response is "Catholic priests get married to the church b/c they think it's a good idea. There's no real reason."

Ah... says it's just a Latin-rite law, not a doctrine. Well I suppose that the precedent for that law would vanish then if Jesus fathered a child. In any case, I'd say the ultimate answer to this thread is that we'd all be reptites.

If you're pulling an all nighter... do what you're supposed to be doing and don't put it off! That's how you got in the situation in the first place. But if you're just pulling one for the fun of it (ha fun) then play a game you enjoy, hack some romz, or post on some message boardz. It is obligatory to have massive amounts of caffeine on hand. Or Adderall if you want to be a pussy.

If you want to recover that rom, use a hex editor and delete all data after address $801FF. In XVI32, use the command "goto" and go to address $80200. Then click on the edit menu and choose the "Delete From Cursor" command. That should shorten the file to the right size and the old checksum from when it was smaller should still be intact, hopefully. If this doesn't work I don't know what else to tell you. Btw this assumes you didn't remove the header with SNESTool, which would be dumb anyways since you need a header to work with Lunar Magic.

*Ignores Lilmario*
Tarale, can you tell us what the hell this "Princess Bitch Face Syndrome" thing is all about? I googled it to no avail. Sounds like something Oprah would make up. |

You fail because you are looking for threads but are doing it via a poll.
Try this out http://poll.gallup.com/ LT is a terrible cess pool of polls as it is . I recommend we rename this to the Derelict Forum b/c nobody uses it anymore. It could have a spooky midi music as a background. Either that or some animated tumbleweeds gifs to fly across the screen occasionally. |

I'm thinking of purchasing a Passcard 3 and G6 Flashcart from http://www.kicktrading.ca/product_info.php?cPath=27&products_id=52
Anybody own one of these or having any experience with setting up Nintendo DS's for homebrew/hacking, etc? edit: I wasn't really sure where to put this. In retrospect it should probably be in the general hacking forum or rom-hacking. Decisions decisions... (edited by MathOnNapkins on 06-16-06 06:55 AM) |

The wiki list is missing a good movie/game combo: Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Though, there is some substantial stuff added in that I think is part of the traditional story and not in the movie. Things like a giant invincible skeleton guard, various quests to save Marian from a chapel, additional characters not in the film, and a lake full of magical posionous beasts. The logo and character likenesses are in the game though. Very good game that I would recommend to anyone. Plays quite a lot like Zelda but is in many ways better.

That's how they detect most if not all rom properties, is reading the internal header.
Since there are gameplay differences in Super Metroid between PAL and NTSC, I would not assume they are always the same source codes, however. |

There is more variety in the gameplay, better graphics, and probably higher challenge. But, if you're expecting it to be just like Zelda 1, don't be surprised when it isn't. It's for NES. And be patient, it does start off a little slow but does get much better and more involved. Look on gamefaqs, most of the reviews for it are pretty favorable and will tell you what to expect. But one idiot couldn't figure out how to automatically pick up items (without the menu). You just walk up to it and hit A, duh. |
