You know, I was almost thinking the same thing. I could have him be my thuglife asian sidekick. But I already know at least two guys like that in my hometown who I could call upon, so who needs a slave?

Wow, you're like the kid who hears that putting a fork in a socket will hurt you, then goes ahead and does it anyway. *bzzzt*
Still, you're stigmatized whether you like it or not. |

professor_gad: who cares about an emulator for DS when you can have a Passme and run a hacked version off of an SD/CF card? Emulators are convenient, but the lack of one won't prevent people from testing their own software.

I suddenly have the urge to make a life size version of one of those old Lego pirate ships* and sail it off into the sunset. Taking donations.

I'm not bi, but a friend of mine is, and it's kind of funny how most people don't believe in the bisexual thing. They think it's a front to soften the stigma of being homosexual. But what would convince people of the authenticity of bisexuality? Would bisexuals have to switch hit every other week just to keep up appearance?
I would guess if you were bisexual, you might go through phases of liking one gender more than the other. Furthermore, if you were gender blind as far as attraction goes, your decision on who to date (or more) would be determined by other factors. So how can you blame someone in that situation? If you like feature X in people, and women are more likely to have feature X, you are obviously going to date more women. |

1 Spoon
1 Bowl 1 Can of Tuna 1 Tablespoon of Miraclewhip (or Mayonnaise if you're a bland person) Mix them in a bowl, eat with the spoon you used to mix. insta-meal. Optionally you can put the mixture on a sandwich and get the classic tuna sandwich, but I'm talking hella lazy here. Mixing in a slice of bread and eating it that way also isn't bad. Make sure to rinse the bowl after you eat though. Tuna is nasty to get off after it dries. Having survived college, I'll vouch for this as great emergency food. Nights when you're so tired or short on time you can't even bear to cook anything. Though I'd recommend taking the time to cook. You'll be healthier and cooking is actually pretty enjoyable. |

If you hold the cntl button and use the mousewheel, it will change your text size. (Up = bigger, Down = smaller) I've accidentally done that many times and it took me a while to figure out why it was happening. See if that helps. I would imagine Riku's CSS specifically sets text size and thus overrides general browser settings. Hence everyone else's text being bigger/smaller.

^ I don't see what's so bad about any of it... though it's just a graphics hack and I usually don't much attention to those anyway. Either way, I'd try changing the palettes of the enemies and bg graphics too, otherwise you run the risk of having it look too similar to the actual SMB.

If we used base 510510 then most if not all of your common repeating fractions would disappear. Of course we'd need 510510 symbols to display numbers... . I'll get the chinese working on it right away. <- my first ever use of smiley.

I want it to be a curse. That way I have to kill someone to lift the curse - and women heroines are for some reason more interesting so I think the process of hunting that person down would both entertaining for me and for any bystanders.

You know... you could be clever and write (deleted thread) on any user's posts in this forum and have no link to it. i.e. Staff members have (restricted) written next to posts in that forum with no link to it, so this would make people think there's nothing to see. Goes along well with the notion of "lost threads" I think. Would mean less people would spot it by accident, that's for sure. You could also set it up so that unless someone has been in this forum before, they can't see the posts in question.
On the negative side, it could have the potential to backfire and draw attention to those posts. But the majority of most people's posts are not in forums like lost threads. And it doesn't prevent people from directly linking each other to the forum. Another option instead of (deleted thread) could be to omit them from the listings all together unless you've actually been here. |

I'm pretty relieved your an oldbie because I saw you posting everywhere recently and thought you were just some new spammer. (I wasn't reading those threads but I saw your name all over the place.)

Although I hate to sound antagonistic, I'd have to say I partially agree with Parasyte. Just kick ass and don't put up with n00bish crap and everything should run smoothly. Maybe then I'll actually be able to read this forum without getting a headache.

Base 8 actually would suck more than base 10. The amount of repeating fractions depends upon how many prime numbers divide into the base. That's why I picked 510510, because it's 2*3*5*7*11*13*17.
For example, 1/3 would be represented as "0.*" where * would be the symbol used to represent the decimal number 170170. Notice this is because 1/3 = 170170/510510. etc etc |
