@Skydude: I've been wanting an e-kill button for ages. It would be like a device that instantly burns out the portion of their brain responsible for working with computers. So the offender isn't dead, just removed from the electronic world. But pain inducing devices would be great too.  |

I got about half way through the timecube page and gave up. He constantly repeats himselfs and mentions "lectures" at different academic institutions. Probably out on the lawn screaming like a lunatic. The spelling is good on his page though... surprisingly. Grammar is terrible, and his true sentiments start becoming more and more apparent. anti-gay attitudes, anti government attitudes, etc. |

| There is a 16 Normal Sprite maximum per room, and I don't remember the maximum of Special Sprites, but I think it's 8 per room. I call the Special Sprites "Overlords" because they tend to be used to control normal sprites. You will not see this distinction in Hyrule Magic, but it is very pronounced in the game's code. Using Hyrule Magic limits you to the same overall number number of sprites/overlords as there are in the original game. Which means, if there are X sprites in the original, you'll have to delete one to be able to add another. So obviously if you start editing using a fresh Zelda 3 rom, you'll already be at the maximum.
There is a way to get around this limitation using hex editing and moving the sprite table and corresponding pointers. |

| From what I've seen in the last application frenzy, and what I've heard about the one before that, it seems like applications just cause overstaffing rather than staff equilibrium. Even if you lost 10 staff, you'd probably be up to 52 after applications. | |||

| I dunno, I smoke almost everyday. I can't say that I am happy about it, but I at least try to not smoke when I am not working. I smoke maybe 1-2 cigs on a day off work. But I'm a delivery driver, and believe me once you start driving while smoking, driving is just boring without it. That's why I sometimes buy gum (not that nasty nicorette crap), to help curb the urge to smoke while driving. I don't like menthols, so buying mint gum helps b/c I know if I do smoke my cigs, they'll taste like a menthol. I'd say on a day without gum I'll smoke maybe 10 cigs, on a day with gum maybe 4-5.
One major problem with smoking is the social factor. If you work with people who smoke, they tend to want you to smoke with them. So it becomes almost this big social obligation/temptation. I don't smoke when there are only nonsmokers closing the store with me. |

Though I have to admit that on occasion I have been known to like the Japanese design too. (Which is the same look as the Euro/Aussie model I think.) Point being I have no desire to play PAL games. Aren't there only a handful of PAL only titles out there anyways? |

| I'd say it looks fairly safe. When you have a site like that with other projects, and a bio and stuff, it tends to look like an authentic coder site.
As far as command line arguments go, what he means is you can use PowerMenu features from DOS. But how is it you are better with DOS and don't know what command line argument means? O_o e.g. c:\powermenu.exe blah bleh the "blah" and the "bleh" are command line arguments to a program. They might be the name of a window, and the command to perform on it. |

| I tested it out in IE 6 and yeah it seems to work. Don't know if it could be "easily" integrated with the board. Keyword is easily. Though I'm kind of uneasy that it only checks for files of extension .PNG, since the file extension can be faked or someone might screw up and put the wrong extension. Isn't there any way to read the internal file type from javas |

| I do find this quite annoying when it happens repeatedly in the same situations. My top example is people in Anya and Elmo's corner who post in threads about what sex positions they prefer, when they've never had sex. (Cruel Justice's mock example is probably a thinly veiled version of mine.) It's very irritating when someone posts and they have absolutely nothing to add to the thread, and yet they feel compelled to tell everyone they have nothing to add.
For example, you don't see me posting in the Wrestling sticky in Movie's & Entertainment. I don't watch wrestling = I don't post there. It's that simple. If I did post there, all I could say is that I thought it sucked and I don't see the appeal. Stuff like that falls into two categories, spam and trolling. |
