Minimum wage would be over seven dollars if it had been raised according to inflation (since the last time it was raised).

Raising it to seven dollars, federally, wouldn't do anything. There is no argument against this at all, most states already have it at seven dollars, and even those that don't have much of the lower class being paid that already.


I know Ohio has their minimum wage at $5.15, which I believe is the federal minimum, though I don't know how many other states are that low.

This test says 142, but meh. I mean, it had questions asking you to finish quotes, which has nothing to do with intelligence. I took an IQ test in the 2nd grade, but I don't know what my score was. It was pretty decent, though.

I was reading ESPN's interesting debate on whether college or the NFL is better, which made me realize that there was an NFL thread, but no college thread.

So is anyone besides me excited about the new season? Right off the bat there are some great games coming up:

Week 1: Florida State at Miami
Week 2: Ohio State at Texas
Week 3: Michigan at Notre Dame
________LSU at Auburn
________Nebraska at USC


Oh man, I can't wait. Here's to the Bucks keeping that No. 1 preseason ranking all throughout the season.

They're definitely up there, but damn do we have a good conference this year. Well, we always have a good conference, but this year looks even better than normal.

Which is why I feel that Texas and USC are overrated. Their conferences are cake.

Ugh, this is why I have no motivation to spend a load of money on new games or systems; the producers always find a way to overlook obvious problems with their software. I'll end up waiting a while before buying anything new.
