I stand corrected. Although there are a lot of websites out there that believe that arrays are defaulted to one-based.

This sounds like something that could be accomplished using a savestate or SRAM editor, and a bit of ROM hacking.

The inaccurate order could maybe be down to a pointer table used to store the addresses for each pokemon. They could be in order in the table, but not in sequential order in the actual ROM.

Without sounding like a dick, I think this may be a bit beyond you at the moment. Don't run before you can even walk. In other words, learn a programming language and learn about ROM hacking first.

Why can't you actually give us screenshots? Doesn't seem like there is an obvious reason.

Well a little tip, if you can, download a program called YY-CHR, that works alot better in terms of adding font data and stuff for hacking of coruse, besides I know that quite a few gams out there may not use all that much data,

But I can garntee that on the NES roms if there is free space that has no data what so ever in that area and I mean a full blank area, then that would be your best bet, besides I found at least 6 areas of the rom that had blank data on Gauntlet 2, meaning it is not used by the game, but that is the advice I can add for now.

You can't just stick fonts/graphics/whatever into any blank space in a NES ROM, and have it work automatically. You've got to take into account whether that bank is switched in, whether the ROM uses CHR-RAM, and other things.

  • Creating new ActiveX Controls (*.ocx)
  • Resource editor add-in
  • Working with files
  • Support for advanced VB6 code

I'd like to know, because I'm used to VB6 professional edition, which is what my school has.

VB Studio 2005 is for VB.NET. So that rules out creating standard exes, creating new activeX controls, and support for advanced VB6 code. Personally, I'd go with it, but if you don't feel like learning a new language/framework, stick with VB6. .NET has a really good class library, and the new language features of VB .net make it about a zillion times better than crappy old VB6.

Linking to the actual downloads isn't permitted on a few of those sites. Linking to the download page would probably be better.

No bloody point to this thread. Removing one of the potential options won't sway people to vote towards what you like.

I doubt it, as from that screenshot it doesn't look as though anything is editable.

Sounds like an edited pic to me. Unless there are actually any edits, this is a thread you probably shouldn't have posted.

You can use small hand movements to control wii games. You don't have to jump around theatrically or anything.

The reason is that this forum is full of stupid people, and that pokémon hacking is usually associated with idiots.

I think you should hunt down all newbies, and burn them at the stake. How dare they ask questions on a messageboard?

It's totally not going to solve the "problem", because what's to stop people just clicking the 'I agree' or whatever it is that lets them access the forum, without actually looking at the stickies?

I don't think there should be a problem with switching those bosses, but I don't know for 100%.

As for adding a boss to level 6, maybe changing the boss screen value in one of the dialogs (maybe level properties) will allow a boss. (I've added bosses to non-boss stages before)
