Hello, everyone.
Unlike some of the other newbie's, I read most of this before posting. I am looking forward to this editor. I always wanted to edit SM64, cause, it don't take much to change SMW. I have a question about tile molester. How do you get it to work for Mario 64? I have done everything in Racoon Sam's tutorial, but I still can't get it to work. |

I expanded it like this thread says, somewhere, before i posted. Do I need anything else besides TM and VL-Tone's texture list. (edited by SuperLuigi64 on 07-28-06 10:15 PM) |

Well, it loads, with some messed up, and i scrolled down, and found the star texture. I guess what I'm asking is how you get the colors right?

Okay, now I can change stuff. Somehow, my download of the rom extender was missing something, so I stole something from the Mac version, and it works. Thanks for helping Goomba Fondue.

No. I run windows, but something from the Mac version made it work, so I'm happy.

This is why, whenever something out of the ordinary happens, I always look to Wikipedia, and Google

Also, the red coin over the post of the original chomp, it is cool, two in one spot. And they are set free in 2 GP's, with two gate busts. Maybe, with if someone found Bowser's behavior code, and put it in on him as a chain chomp, then it might be possible to have Bowser chomp. Here's some from Whomp's Fort. There was three of them, but they fall through the walls if they land in them. And the LOL pic: Don't hang yourself, it's not worth it. I'm guessing that Bob-Omb Battlefield, Tall Tall Mountain, and Whomp's Fort load all of the same textures. Well, since I am having trouble, why don't behaviors work in PJ64?
Yes, it breaks a gate, unless it "falls through a wall", or it is in a wall when you free it. Then it freezes. One I did that was cool jumped all the way across BoB, came back, and jumped over the real chomp, and the game resumed. So, basically, free only the chomps not even close to a wall, like the ones near the red coin star, or the original. IPS patch, not yet. It works on 3 levels only. And VL-Tone is more than likely working on the editor. |

Back on topic.
What is the behavior for let's say.... the giant gombas (in the castle front lawn, from VL-Tone's IPS). Maybe they could be changed into chomps, or is it the same as the code in rstewart's document. (edited by SuperLuigi64 on 08-09-06 03:34 PM) |

Heres what I did to my aunt's ancient, (and by God, I mean 1990) hard drive.
1. Formatted it, 4 times. 2. Hooked it up and half install windows 98. 3. Plugged it into my old Gateway computer, which melted the inside parts. 4. Took it outside and smashed it with a hammer until it was in small pieces. 5. Buried it in various places. Good times. (edited by 32 on 08-11-06 10:22 PM) |
