I know exactly what you mean. My ex-fiance and I went through a very clean break up, and vowed to be best friends still. Nowadays, we barely talk.

One could attribute it to going down separate paths; I got more involved in the nightlife, while she got a nice, clean boyfriend. However, I've been open- even eager- to the idea of being friends, but we never talk. It's kinda sad, actually.

I used to eat 3-4 packs of Ramen a day... It's really really cheap and relatively filling.

Haven't bought any in awhile, though... Hmm... I should pick some up. ^.^

Cookies are enabled; most of the boards I go to stay logged in once I've logged in once. But here, I hit 'login', type in my name and password, and it redirects me to the title screen... Unlogged.

A little help?

I deleted some of my cookies ('cos I don't wanna have to bother relogging in to every site I do to), but I don't think that's the problem.

It's not that I'm not staying logged in... I'm not logging in at all. Even without cookies, I should be able to log in (and stay logged in) until I close the browser or leave the page, but it's not even doing that.

(Are there any compatibility errors with this site and lololol?)

I was supposed to get braces. My teeth aren't horrific or anything, but they're pretty misaligned. But I said no; screw brushing way too much, screw no gum, and screw having perfect teeth so I can look nice for society.
If it bugs you that much (as much as it bugged me), refuse. They're your teeth, after all, and they can't constrain you and force them on you.

Just say no!

Hey! That did it! Thanks XK.
I didn't see the cookie on my first scan through the list.

Why would it make and store the cookie though, and then keep me logged out?

Wow, Elmo... You've gone a far way since the last time I heard from you, and from the looks of it, you've come twice as far back. It's great to see you doing so well in your quest, and even better that you have so much support for you here. I'm happy to see it.

I wish you the firmest of blessings in your endeavours. Good luck, ya mushy bastard. XD

I have no pets on account'a I can't afford my own food, much less cat food. I've survived for the past three days on milk, water, and bread (which went stale some time between yesterday and today). Pizza would be nice.

I'm not complaining. If I wanted to be warranted to complain, I should probably put more effort into fixing it. Nor am I tryin' to one-up you or anything. It just never ceases to amaze me how the people with the least amount of real problems are the ones to get the most upset at the most trivial of shit.

Motherfarking pissed? And not just motherfarking pissed, but MOTHERFARKING PISSED, in all caps? Ok, your mutt ate your pizza, that blows. But it's a dumbass animal fulfilling one of it's instinctual, mindless-mutt needs. And in the end... It's only pizza. There's a near-endless supply of the stuff and it's pretty easy to come across, too.

As for the hole... If they dug one, and you filled it, and they dug a new one, fill it with something they can't dig through. I'll spare the ideas, 'cos there's lots of good ones floating around already.

Best job I ever had... Probably the good old days at Patrick's. Minimum Wage, but I pulled in 24 hours a week (which is the perfect number to get by comfortably). It's a kitchen, so I ate lots of food, heh. My boss is a great guy and I love almost all of my coworkers. ('Cept one, but he can go to hell.)

Worst job... Capri Linen. Or Helen's Delicatessen. Both of them were fucking slave drivers with shitty attitudes. I'd have to go with Capri, though, 'cos at Helen's even though they were bitchy old Polish ladies (if you've ever had an experience with an old Polish lady, you'd understand the significance of listing her nationality.) the work was easy. At Capri I nearly cried my second day walking home, I hurt so bad.
Needless to day, my second day was my last day.

When you get your teeth pulled / wisdom teeth pulled, if they prescribe you T3s or any sort of powerful painkiller (they should do this at least for your wisdom teeth, if not your other teeth), grab 4 bucks and go to the grocery store. Buy a bag of whole cloves (the spice). Cloves naturally contain euphedrin, which is widely used as a local anaesthetic. Chewing on one of those will numb half your mouth and- obviously- kill the pain. Then you can save the T3s for recreational use later. XD

My former roommate informed me once that apparently it's the style of the Canadian Military to lace their boots in a ladder formation, rather than x's.

I'll admit, there've been times when I've flirted on girls 14 or 15... (I'm 20.) But usually I'm like, "How old are you, 18?" and they're like "15." and... Yeah. Not cool. Little kids look WAY too old these days. Knowing a kid is 13 or 14 and still hitting on them, though, is... A little weird.
I guess as long as it's legal and no one gets hurt...?

Fetishes, though, I'm an immense Sadomasochist. I love being cut by others (I think cutting oneself is silly), and I love inflicting pain on my lovers.

I've also got a drug fetish. And not in the "sex on drugs is better" way that many people advocate. (Although it is.) But no, like... If I know a chick is fucked up on something, that turns me on more than any strip-tease or sexy massage could.
But I'll not go into any further detail.

Last time I stood on a scale I was 161.5. At my heaviest, a few years ago, I was about 180. I'm pretty sure I weigh less now, 'cos, well, I don't eat much anymore (I'm on the poverty diet!), but then again, back when I was eating right and excerising, I still never dropped below 161.5...Man, was that ever infuriating! You'd think I'd at least vary by half a pound, but nooooo, there was always that .5! Little snot nosed decimal, always pointing and laughing, I'd like to teach him a thing or two about fractions!

You know those pens that have ripcords, that you can clip on to your belt? If you've ever worked in a call centre you've probably seen them, attached to people's swipe cards. They're just cords that can pull on, and retract by themselves. Ok?
Now, I also got these LED light sticks, right? Like LED laser pointers with etched plastic sticks on the ends to catch the light. I sawed them down to about an inch and taped blacklight-reactive string to it, to increase wind resistance and control.
2 + 2 = AWESOME.

So what I've got are variable-length, multi-coloured lights that extend and retract depending on how I flick my wrist. WAY TOO FUCKING COOL.

I've got a few pics, but the guy taking them was kinda drunk, and didn't get any really good snapshots. These are the best three out of the ones he took.
Yes, these are crappy pics. I can't wait to get good ones.

This one's the worst of the three, but it shows off the variablility of the tois, and how they swing...

This one's a shot of them while they're retracted...

And lastly, a shot of them extended.

Cool, eh?
So, anyone else build their own triptois?

I stuck LED lights onto cords that retract by themselves. So when I spin them, centrifrugal force pulls them out and causes them to arc in wider circles, and when I slack, they pull back in.

Also, PLUR is an acronym for Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect, which are the four principles I found my entire life upon. I am a raver, and even though the saying originated through raver culture, one doesn't have to be a raver in order to believe in it... I advocate it strongly to everyone, as my life has improved by leaps and bounds since I heard of it.

More pictures!

a) Yes, that's me.
b) I simply am. (Though I generally prefer being referred to as female.)

The outfit's not even done yet, I've got more stuff to take apart and attach... And I haven't even woven in the glowsticks yet! XD
