I used to have five dogs. All basset hounds. Although they're steadily aging, three died of different causes. One from being hit from a truck head-on, one from a double-case of cancer/diabetes, and one had to be put down (forgot what for, though)

Sauerbraten

A mostly-new FPS. Akin to Quake in a lot of ways, but is much more than that. Has mutliplayer map editing (!) and a variety of multiplayer modes (both team-based and not.)

Cube

Sauerbraten's predecessor, Doom-like in design. Very lightweight with regards to system requirements.

I just use savesates to save progress. Or a really long and difficult-to-perform series of actions that also involves lots of trudging back to a starting point, or puzzles.

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers. They only serve chicken fingers with a side of sauce, fries, texas toast, and cole slaw. A little more expensive than the average chicken joint, but worth it every single time I eat there. <3

The background is trippy. D: For some reason, I like it. D:

Pick a language you think you might be comfortable with. Find some tutorials. Experiment.

For example, I wound up writing a python script to calculate the percentage of what genres make up my music collection, and generate fancy-looking bargraphs for each. Just an example of how to apply what you've already learned to do something to learn more (if that makes sense.)

I'm jealous now.

... Then again, I kinda didn't have access to anything _decent_ when I was younger. And even though I tried learning C when I was 11, I gave up after I realized I couldn't make anything work. :|

As a result, after finding Python, I stuck with it and worked with it off and on. Had I been a bit more persistent, I'd prbably be far more adept with it than I am now.
