| Saw it on Friday. I was screwed up the entire time, because I read Angels and Demons last (albeit a good year or so ago), and I was expecting stuff from that to happen cause I got the books mixed up.
I still liked it though. It wasn't a great movie, it was just entertaning things, like the book. |

| Uh, neither Brazil or England have played their best football yet, and they're both undefeated. Ecuador tested England once that entire 90 minutes, and if it wasn't for Lampard having a rediculously bad game, it would have been 3-0.
As for Brazil...I'll believe they're not the best team in the world when I see them lose. |

Having now read the book, I have no idea what they plan to do with it. The book let me down in terms of plot...It just gets derailed at the end. That being said, I'll still see it, just for kicks, and see Keanu "The 2x4" Reeves in work as our pal Bob. |

| Well, to be frank, the movie series features cursed ships, undead pirates trying to fufill a blood oath, 5000 ton aquatic montrosities not to mention sea fauna fusing with...well ghosts to form Davy Jones' crew....so I let the whole water wheel thing slide in terms of being "realisitic"/completely fantastical

This actually hurts. I'm not even french, I'm Italian for christsakes, and to see Zidane do that...I just don't get it. France should have won, they outplayed Italy completely, and if it wasn't for one corner, Zidane would have gone out on top. shame |

I know he's the captain, and a veteran of the game, but he's also a human being. We all have our limits, and Mazeratti took it one step further, and Zidane snapped. And it's unfortunate, because instead of remembering Zinedine Zidane as the wizard of the game, people are going to associate this with his image, and it's unfair. |

Zidane's family members are saying that he was called some racial insult to Algerians that is in comparison worse than the "n" word. I don't know what I would do, obviously, and none of us could say that we could honestly hold our selves back in that situation. Like I said before, we all have a threshold, and Zidane's was clearly pretty high. A captain, leader, face of a god damn nation...what about the pressure though? We talk about how he was all these things, and let people down, but do you think he didn't know what was at stake? His final game, the championship? This is starting to ramble, because my brain is slowly stopping, so I'll leave it at that for now, until I sleep a bit more anyways. |
