Interestingly enough, my friend Mark bought the special edition, made by "superbit" (don't ever get shit by them), and in the little making of Snatch featurette, Guy Ritchie stated that he intended the movie to be serious, it just came out funny.

I love Jason Statham, everything about him just reeks of coolness. I really wanna get the coat he wears in that movie, it's pretty dope.

has anyone else here experience the amazingness that is Bear vs. Shark? They were a indie rock group that released two full length CD's.

I only just recently got into them, and unfortunately they broke up this past year in december, so I'll never get to see them. Disappointing.

Today, I sat down and looked at the US and the Dominican Republic's roster for the World Baseball Classic.


Good bye US chances. I mean, we have talent obviously, but there's no oher American born player better than Griffey for CF? Aren't there more players out there than what we have for our lineup? I could get into my whole Roger Clemens revived career dissertation, but that's another day. CC Sabathia is an all-star, but not who I would pick to pitch for me in the World Series of the World.

Either way, the other issue I have with this is why owners are so uptight about the entire thing. Yes, there is the risk of injury, but that's true with every other day of the year. Look at Sammy Sosa. Out due to sneezing. David Wells in a barfight, etc. Look at European football. Mega-stars from every country in the world go out and give their all in various matches that take place in the middle of their league season.

I just think it's wack that there isn't the love for the country that's evident in other sports.

The overall presentation annoyed me, the fact that they plastered their logo over evreything, and that the first disc of Snatch didn't have audio for me


As for older classics, I guess we can shift gears to...oh I dunno. How about The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Spaghetti western at its finest. Clint Eastwood as The Man With No Name, epitome of cool. Possibly the greatest western ever?

WTF.


USA is being SMOTE by Canada...I had to turn it off.


Love the title btw, and yeah US lost. Because Canada came with a chip on their shoulders, and team USA acts like they always do nowadays, not giving a shit about the team, making errors on defense, not capitalizing on walks, and basically sucking besides Tek.

Barca!!

Even though the call on Lehmann was pretty bullshit, and Arsenal played a hell of a game despite the man advantage to Barca.

Ronaldihno played like crap, but I thought besides the last 6 or so minutes when his defense collapsed on him, Almunia played excellently, given the situation he was dropped into.
