I was thinking that there could be a thread for story ideas. Someone could post them (like I'm about to) and get feedback on them / some additional ideas.

Of couse there's the gentlemen/woman's agreement that nobody takes any ideas here unless the author specifically disowns them.



Anyways, here's the innagural idea:

Random guy, ladies man, is going out with four girls at once, without any of them knowing about the other, seemingly. One day, out of the blue, two G-Men show up at his house, and start roughing him around. They accuse him of various espianoge/terrorism stuff and tell him to get his shit together or they'll come back.

This is where it's gets kind of fuzzy, and I don't really have a lot going, but he's going to be trying to balance dating these women with being super paranoid, and trying to not attract the attention of the law (even though he hasn't done anything).

One of the women (who's in theatre, and is an aspiring actor) will have an uncanny ability to show up right before or right after the Feds, and press him awkwardly about the whole situation. Eventually it'll be revealed, through some type of misstep on the "G-Men's" part that they're actually actors, friends of the Theatre Woman, who knew about the other girls and wanted to get back at him.

Spoiler:
In the climax/conclusion, the fake G-Men will show up once again, but of course the Main Character knows that they're not real. The Fake G-Men will draw guns, and through a mix up with props, they'll shoot him with real bullets...and that's all I got.

Rom: I'm not sure what you mean really. What I meant was that the theatre woman would show up innocently enough right after or before the G-Men they that she hired, which are actors as well.

Well, there's been like member life cycles. The real oldbies pretty much have died out, who's left, Phil?

Then there's the stage after that that extends to about Colin and Anya. They're obviously the stalwarts, but that's probably the oldest bunch still posting.

There's my generation, which has a dropoff from the Colin/Anya one, and the generation after me, which is like Danielle and co, which is a dropoff from my generation's dropoff. There just haven't been enough good replacements.

OK I was wondering what is like the oldest you can be, going out with a younger person.

Like for example I'm 18, a freshman in college, and say a girl 16 going on 17, a junior in high school. Is that acceptable, or too much of a stretch? I'm not actually in a relationship, I was just curious.

The problem I have is with the shitshow known as "homerconnect"
