| Come to think of it, I tried reading a GC disk in my DVD drive before my last format, and reading a simple data cd started taking 3-5 minutes and other slowness ensued. Saw an article on digg about how windows will slow the performance of your drives after 6 errors or so are read. You have to reset the values in the registry to fix it. Article:
http://neodon.blogspot.com/2006/07/little-known-tweak-to-boost-hard-drive.html If you do manage to rip a GC ISO and need help extracting the goodies, let me know. I had some success ripping stuff out of Sonic Riders a little bit ago, but finding the tools is strangely difficult. |

| Before New Super Mario Bros for NDS came out and they had all the trailers going with the new super big smash everything mario powerup, I fired up BlockTool and edited the SMB3 style breakable bricks and made them breakable from all sides. I'd like to see that power up implemented in SMW, but I don't think you can enlarge Mario's sprites that big, plus I don't know how to edit the existing powerups to change the attributes of pipes, etc. |
