I'm too open with some people for my own good. Sometimes I'm a completely different person to who I am. It usually doesn't take long before it knocks the life out of me and I'm open and soft again.
I find being open and honest tends to be easier when working with other women, wheras men prefer a more robust, defensive personality. |

Castlevania Symphony of the Night is quite simply stunning. This one shines the light for platformers on the PSX. Being released into an entire castle to explore is too hard to resist. It renders a world with beauty and detail that other platformers can only envy. Many people think this is the natural progression from Super Metroid, and I think it really does deserve this comparison.
Tomb Raider, the original is simply one of the best 3d platformers in the world, still. It offered you an unparalleled degree of freedom, in a much more sophisticated 3d world than Mario 64. It didn't have the graphics, but the imagination and design made it way ahead of it's time. |

The worst thing I've ever done to my brother is lock him inside the house on his own when he was two or three. I also kicked him in the leg when he was about ten. That's about it, though.
When he annoys me now, I just threaten to trim his water cooling inside his PC down a bit A quick snip here, a few cuts there... |

Non Nintendo approved games for the NES were forced out of production through good ol' Nintendo hard-line bussiness practices. They would put the squeeze on any magazine that would sell advertising space to third party developers that released games that didn't fit and never looked for Nintendo's approval. Because magazines couldn't survive without news tid-bits and review copies of games, magazines eventually caved in to appease Nintendo. Anyone who thinks Nintendo has always been a good ol' friendly company are in for a shock.
Back on topic, my 20" iMac Core Duo is tipped to arrive Tuesday. Hurrah! (Sorry ||Bass, I couldn't resist. I'm weak ) |

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
It's a shocking game when you get past your memory of Ocarina of Time. When you hear the rattles as the skull kid starts invading Link's mind. Termina being destroyed. The music on the final day, in the clock tower and observatory. Link being trapped in a deku scrub's body. Majora's mask posessing the moon and finally the children running around in the field before facing the wrath of Majora's Mask, the final boss. It's a seriously freaky game because it's so unexpected. |

As soon as it arrives, I'll let you know how quick it goes. I have to say that because it's my first, I won't have any guage of how fast it's actually going with PowerPC apps. If there's a free program that I can download that you'd like me to try, I'll give it a whirl when I can Having said that, I really need to get a copy of Photoshop. I won't be able to afford buying it for a very long time.
I'm sure it will work in Apple's favour. There still isn't any PC quite like the Mac on the market, and I'm sure the general public will continue to acknowledge that. The closest competitor to the iMac would probably be a Vaio, but the desktops are still absolutely hiddeous. As far as I see it, as long as Dell are still selling their brand of PCs then Apple will still sell Macs. |

My girlfriend bought an American DS before the European launch. She used a GBA SP power supply for recharging and it works just swell with wi-fi I'd imagine that the wi-fi standard is pretty much standardised across the world, so you should be able to pick one up and use it straight away like we did.

I've never tried for a high score on Sonic. Until hearing people talking about getting perfects, I honestly had no idea you could get one outside the special stage. I still haven't been able to do it.
Day off tomorrow though, I'll take you up on that challenge on good old Sonic Jam |

The iPod Video is much wider and flatter than the iPod Photo. It's screen has been enlarged to display video in a large enough format as not to appear titchy. When you see the difference, you'll be able to tell them apart easily.

I have to agree about the school already being up-to-date. My school suffered from having a bloated IT department that drew budget away from other departments. There's no fucking wonder that they key subjects of maths, english and science are failing. They're never going to compete with subjects that appear as trendy and high-tech as Computing. My old IT teacher has a 30" monitor in his office, for christ's sake.
So many subjects could do with bright, interesting, clean new textbooks and a breath of fresh air. The best thing you can give a school is plenty of reasonably fast computers, and make them uniform across the entire school. You don't need toys or gadgets to learn. Just make the computer experience easy to learn and approach. Make sure that there's enough facilities so that it can be a part of every student's study experience. |

It's clearly asking to be insulted now that Blizzard has made it's intentions clear. It's simple, don't ask, don't tell because we don't want to deal with the trouble you will inevitably cause. Blizzard thought they were acting in the best interests of all parties, but spectacularly failed. It's insensitive and ignorant of the feelings, freedoms and inteligence of the GLBT communities. What's even worse is the amount of completely dim-witted comments being hurled around by insecure opinionated posters in the US forums.
I've been standing my ground since page one in the European forums, and if you want to know what I think of all this, pop along and read what I've written. I've dealt with enough ignorant asshats for one weekend, and I'm pretty much too pooped to explain myself yet again to people who don't deserve it. So come one, come all to see Kasumi in a really bad mood arguing with morons! (My screen name is Emony) |
