 That Fast Scrolling BG gives me a headache. 
I expected better from you Shyguy. 1. The Levels are too close to the original ones. Ctrl+Shift+Delete is your friend. 2. The level(s) have too much weird stuff in them (a vertical gap between air and water?) 3. Some of the new GFX look okay, but nothing special. I hope to see a major improvement. | I exported all of the levels again, and reinsterted some of them to a backup copy of my ROM to narrow it down and find exactly which level was causing this, and I found it to be Level 14B. The rest of the levels seem to work fine, so I don't really care any more.
@Xeruss: maybe you're right there, because my hack has dozens of edited sprites. Well if there's nothing more to add, I guess this thread can be closed. (edited by peter_ac on 12-14-05 08:15 AM) |

| Just one question, what's the point in this hack?
A SMB Hack with all 52 levels, all ASM upgrades, and the object capacity from SMB2J, now there's a hack I'd like to see. Don't get me wrong, it wouldn't be any more fun to play than SMB2J.fds, but it would be something that other hackers could use as a base for their own hacks so that they could make bigger hacks. But this... it's just pointless really. It has, what is it, 16 levels from a game most of us have played 100s of times in better graphic and sound quality, and, AND, it has tonnes of glitches. Sorry insectduel, but...  |

Anikiti has completed his hack, Mario X World Deluxe, of which he released a demo on the old board some months ago. I'm not sure when he released this, but I just found it on his site today while looking around. Well just finished playing the first few levels and it's really good, excellent level design. Yeah, there are a few status bar palette problems, but that doesn't matter cause it's really enjoyable. Whoever says SMAS GFX are overused is wrong, this game's GFX are awesome!  |

Honestly, the shit this guy has to put up with in Pokémon Hacking, I don't know why he bothers. Hamtaro: Planning on actually doing something any time soon? legoman: He used to really annoy me, but his recent improvemnt in SMW Hacking makes up for it. Luigi-San: Has a bad habit of trying to do other people's jobs, and doing them badly. Ghettoyouth: One of the best ROM Hackers I know, he's also very nice and respectful. Anikiti: Not what I'd call "here", but he is "the best" ROM Hacker I know. Peardian: I don't know him too well, but I like his artwork. The Kins: Hilarious!

Chris: He seems to have given up on SMW Hacking, which is a major shame and a waste of such good talent. Not much of a talker though, he seems quite, well boring. Glyph Pheonix: He's right all the time, but I just hate the way he puts it. Alostar: I used to hate this guy, but I don't really know him anymore now that he has strayed from SMW Hacking. FreeDOS: He has something a lot of people here are lacking, ambition. Good luck with the new SMW editor!
