Another 2 shots of SMWRMK:

Sorry 'bout the lack of action in them, that level isn't really finished yet.

Huh, that is quite strange. It's like a mirror of yours.

But just for the record:

1. I rarely play SMB3 hacks
2. I never played that hack, or saw its screens before.
3. I didn't know you were an SMB3 hacker. _¬

No really, I can see his point. What about the flying cheep-cheeps? And the way one platform slides under another?

Besides that, I don't think he was actually trying to accuse me of anything. _¬

You could try doing it yourself. You don't need 8198468761982374160498329 people to make a hack; all you really need is one, you.

No. Mikeyk made a hack that had Raccoon Mario in it, but that's it. And no, it couldn't be applied to a modified rom.

Make sure you install the title movie recording ASM before you record. It's in the Title Screen menu on the overworld.

Use the Jump Block from BlockTool. It doesn't use any animation, unless you were to set it up in Lunar Magic.

Yes, they're supposed to be solid with the sprites. I really get the feeling you've left out a step. Go through thr instructions again, and post about whatever you don't understand.

Oh god no. There are three methods I use:

1. Open the game you want to rip from, like SMAS(.smc) in a graphics editor like YY-Chr, find the tiles of the background you want to rip, and paste them into an ExGFX file of your hack.

2. Open the game you want to rip from, like SMAS, in ZSNES and take a screenshot when you see a background. The open the savestate(.zst) in YY-Chr to see the tiles of that background. Lunar Magic can also import the palette of that savestate into the level.

3. If I can't make a ZSNES savestate, I can't find the tiles uncompressed in the ROM, and all else fails, I rip from a screenshot. But I rarely have to do that.

An alternative option is M16-7k, but I don't use that at all. There's a tutorail around here somwhere by Ice Man.

Hope that helps.

Or sometimes, the entrance to a level is halfway through the level. I can't think of any like that in the original SMW. What I'm tellin ya here, is that the entrance doesn't always half to be to the far letf of the level. In some levels in my hack, the entrance is at the far right, and you play from right to left. It's something ya don't see too much at all. _¬

So why are you even tring? Have some ambition.

My advice to you both, is to mess around with Lunar Magic and all of its features, to get some experience until both of you are able to do everything on your own, then you can go your seperate ways. Another good idea, is to play a lot of hacks to develop some ideas for interesting level design.

... What FuSoYa used to make DWTLC 6MB. But yours is now 8. _¬ Best thing ya can do here, start again in a clean rom. Export and Import all of your levels and GFX.

I'd like if a thread is automatically marked read when viewed.

I'd also like the ability to mark a PM as unread.

Shut the fuck up, you twat.

FPI, if you open a savestate in a graphics editor, you need to press + 19 times for the GFX to appear clearly.
