After all the heat, a rainstorm moved over my country. I hid inside my bunker and waited for it to go away. It was a cool surprise after all the heat.

For the ACS, well... I discovered the IRC channel, and since then I kinda abandonded the board, which can be seen at my activity line and the recent drop in it. I don't think I'll go up again.

Congratulations for finally getting a good computer (even if it's a laptop). I once had a laptop, but then sold it because I can't really move the cursor with the touchpad (I later got my PC upgraded anyway so it's nothing big).

We are humans, Humans make mistakes. One typo isn't going to release North Korea's rockets. Everybody makes them, we have to live with them. I mean, if someone types an answer fast, they are going to make mistakes. Most are fixed, but some are simply overseen. That is normal and completely tolerated. It's only stupid if someone makes them on purpose.

If I recall correctly, I once finished SMB3 with a score of 1,200,000.

I should try it again sometime. I believe you can get much more points with that by exploiting the warp whistle(s) to warp back one level.

Room 120, huh? I already know about this, still a cool find though. I mean, playing inside an alpha room, you don't get this every day.

I heard someone managed to port the room to Majora's Mask. I haven't seen any patches though.

I'm well aware that breaking tables doesn't make a good layout... that's the whole point of this thread.

I would need the source code of your layout then. It's much easier to work with the relevant code only than to have to sort out the unnecessary stuff.

I always get the music I am constantly hearing on my computer stuck on my head. At the moment I'm on vacation, and I can still remember the 20 music tracks I've last heard. And I mean the whole tracks.
Video game music is easiest to get stuck in my head.

If there's like a horrible music, it gets stuck too, and then everytime I try to think, I am forced to remember that music. After a few days I usually forget them in favor of better tracks.

Just steal borrow the code from the source of this thread. You can get the code much easier this way.

To the original poster: While you may be able make a good layout with HTML alone, learning basic HTML in conjuction with CSS is so much easier since CSS has many attributes to style your elements. Learning CSS is quite easy, just learn basic HTML, how to embed CSS, and a list of CSS attibutes. Then you have the potential to create good layouts.

I already thought that the problem lies in the 64k modem I had on vacation (which self-destructed shortly after that) when I saw I couldn't access acmlm.org. Well, nice to know that acmlm.org just was down.

I was on vacation, so no harm done.

I want to get my main computer online at some point (thanks to router/dynamic IPs that isn't so easy), and I want to use it as a simple 'page of things' (just put random things on it).

Router issues and my dying hard drive currently prevent me from doing so. But if these problems are gone, I will go and do what I should have done years ago.

I would say Russian, since you already have basic knowledge of Ukranian, and the two languages are similar to each other.

German is nice too, it's your preference if you choose this over Russian, since it is a bit complicated, but if you want, take it.

If you don't know how to use a hex editor, then ROM hacking probably isn't for you. I mean, those things are easy to understand.

Look at it, play a bit with it, and you'll get the hang of it. But as a beginner, stick to editing documents and don't try to edit something yourself, as these things are dangerous.
