Gameshark codes are RAM values, and can't just be written into the ROM. You have to find what changes the RAM value and experiment with that.

What happens if you insert the line:
$c = array();

in status.php, after the two 'require' lines?

I could get my gun that I've hidden in my bedroom (doesn't take long, maybe 3 seconds), and whack the intruder with it (getting ammo would take too long, I think, 7 seconds). And if this doesn't work, I could probably get some knives (4 seconds) and use them...

Yeah, especially since I've stolen their technology, and that was years ago.

Anyway, I press too *smashes button*... Oh, that was too hard, because it fell off... and a green switch appeared behind!

What does it do? Does anyone have the instruction booklet of this right now?

Beta Quest Maps

They are old and slightly inaccurate, but can be helpful while exploring Beta Quest.

Colin, why have you changed your name and powerlevel?

Anyway, I find it very easy to identify users by their post layout, and have hard time recognizing people if they've switched/deleted their post layout and avatar at the same time. That's why I almost never change mine.

I recently fed your HijackThis log to the Hijackthis log analysis. You can see your results here. Scroll down and you can see what is most likely causing the problem.

There is no item shop I know of that works with 1.A2, but you could probably modify the item shop for 1.92 to work with the newer AcmlmBoard.

Who cares?

It's nice that your rating affects everything, but other than that... Experience serves no real purpose (though the coins you get with experience do), aside from ratings you give.

People who suck care about EXP and post count.

The only milestones that should be celebrated are birthdays and 1/2/5 year(s) registration, nothing more.

A headered ROM (SNES ROMs only) has 512 (0x200) bytes of extra information at the beginning of the file. They can contain various information, but in most cases they are empty. Some tools require either one or the other variant of a ROM (i. e. Lunar Magic), so you may have to use a hex editor to remove/add the header before you can use these.

Well, non-creative levels are always better than unchanged levels, so even if you don't think you'll manage it, try it. Maybe do a small hack (i. e. few number of levels) at the beginning, then start bigger projects as you get some experience in level design.

Both ROMs are of same quality, and you can just keep one of them, since they can be easily modified to be the other version anyway, so no need to store two ROMs.

In a few hours I will start driving to Berlin and stay there for the week-end.

Next week work starts again (I took 3 weeks off to enjoy the summer), like always at 5 AM. With a half-an-hour trip to work (12 miles between me any my work), I have to leave very early to catch work. Add the fact that I go to bed at 10 PM, and you know how tired I am the whole day...

Posted on 08-29-06 02:55 PM, in RAM being read incorrectly Link
There are many reasons for this:

- A video card that takes its memory from system RAM is installed (highly unlikely)
- You have RAM from two different manufacturers/standards installed.
- Your RAM is faulty.
- A system option restricts the RAM (again unlikely)

Try running memtest86 on the affected computer to check if the RAM is faulty or otherwise corrupted.
