It hasn't been released yet, and nobody knows when it'll be released.

I don't know where you heard the rumor that this exists, but there is no downloadable Super Mario 64 Beta.

So, according to the rules, you actually need to make a hack to be granted ROM Hacking privileges?

Otherwise the idea sounds good, except the part above. (though a better idea would be to grant access for all now registered users here minus known troublemakers, and make only new users need to ask for approval.)

Not necessarily. Bio tends to type with no regard for capitalization at the beginning of a sentence and has a few grammatical and spelling errors here and there, but he's one of the more experienced ROM hackers on the board.

Staff can look at existing posts of this person and see if the person is worthy of getting approval. It is not like proper grammar is the key to victory (and it would be stupid if it is), so don't worry.

Hello,

my name is Prince Kassad, and I'd like to get approved for the ROM Hacking forums. Since I've registered, my main forum is ROM Hacking, because I'm experinced in the hacking of many games, including Super Mario World and Super Mario 64, and, although I'm not making a hack at the moment, I want to discuss about game hacking, rate hacks and answer miscellaneous questions.

I am a friendly member and always tried to help out newbies with their questions (though most of them will be cut out with this new rule). Otherwise I have rated hacks, and am known in the Super Mario 64 hacking scene, the best example being me starting the new SM64 hacking discussion thread. I also have an interest for SMW Hacking, and help out if there's any questions(problems, or, again, rate hacks.

I also watch the board almost 24/7, so I can see if there's any problem, and immediately help out.

This knowledge, helpfulness, and the ability to rate hacks well does not deserve to be left out of the future ROM Hacking, so I hope I will get accepted as a helpful and knowledgeable person.

(and I apogolize for the spelling mistake in the title of this thread, I didn't notice that and I hope an admin/mod would correct that. Thanks.

I think there should there be an article AcmlmWiki:Deletion Requests, where you can request deletions of articles/templates/images/categories, since the only way to do that now (besides using the User: page of a random SysOp) is using AIM, but users who have timezone disadvantage (like me) have problems finding a sysop on AIM.
With this article, we have an easy-to-use list of articles that need to be deleted that can be viewed by any user.

It certainly looks nice. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me (probably router firewall issues), but when I repair it, I'll chat with you. (so prepare for total nonsense).

Other than the online features this app is useless to me. I already have better text editors.

For me it doesn't stretch 100% too, and the window moves all the way to the left when a big image is posted (see his newest thread here).

You should really think about either making your layout bugfree, or scrap it altogether.

If the Wii gets a hard drive, some way to transfe rto that hard drive, and the N64 emulator is written to support many games, this could very well be a possibility. But since I don't think there will be a way to transfer files onto the hard drive (and we must still find out how to make the emulator load those!), I wouldn't put my hopes up to it.

Help/Suggestions.

And I think we need somebody who can also approve people, because the admins are just too inactive, and those who are active don't really care. And I don't want people waiting half a day just to get approved.

Actually, this might be caused because your computer is too fast. Snes9x never worked correctly with newer computers, and likes to hang up on them. If you have dual boot/hyperthreading, you can try assigning Snes9x to only one of the two CPUs, but otherwise there is no solution to that problem.

If you're somewhat experienced with computers, you can also try underclocking your computer, though it's risky and I wouldn't try it.

If you want to test animated GIFs, why can't you do it on your own computer?
There are more than enough GIF viewers avaliable for download on the web.

I think the solar system will remain as is, because we recognized these 9 planets as being part of it back then and will do so until today.

This is a nice theory, but I don't really think he'll post at his birthday if we don't prepare something special for him (and Xkeeper said that nothing special will be done at his birthday).

Maybe he will return at some other day, though, because I don't think he'll manage to stay away from posting here completely. Either that, or he waits for the stupidity to be gone (like tons of other people off the top of my head).

We need a page where all of the special pages (ex. Request an article or Deletion requests) can be put in. I think they should not be on the main page since it can get overcrowded with too many links, but we need to reference these special pages somewhere. I thought some 'AcmlmWiki submitter portal' would be a good idea (we could use the community portal page for this), but maybe you have some better ideas.

You can trink toilet water, if it really bothers you...

Back when I was still in school, the whole school had a mass fight consisting of like 200 people, which led to the abolishing of breaks. If I remember correctly, some teachers were hurt there as well.
The pupils also lit fireworks inside the school building, and did some other stuff I can't remember at the moment...

I can only say it was horrible back then.

I believe because many people here visit ROM Hacking and staff didn't want to be bombarded with approval requests. Besides, the ROM Hacking forum is still smart enough to not need approval, but if intelligence in that forum sinks, it will need approval like in the original plan.

Judging from our Epic Racers thread icon resized to 15x15, it looks like that's the regular max size. It's possible only sticky threads can have bigger posticons.

Only the height is limited to 15 pixels, the width can be higher (and there's no extra rule for stickied threads).

Back to topic, I wouldn't have expected a bug fix for such a simple program. Nice anyway.

What did you do? Now we have nobody with enough experience to be lazy fix the numerous bugs in AcmlmBoard. And we need a new dictator, too.
