| You, sir, are full of it.
I know for a fact that at least some of these are fake. Your title screen, for instance; there's no room left in the background palette for that pink color. The extra-wide Kirby sprites are another dead giveaway, as Mario is limited to 16x32 pixels. If you can't even change the status bar to read "METAKNIGHT", how are we supposed to believe you're capable of sprite hacking? Either you provide some concrete proof that you're capable of this level of hacking, or the thread's getting trashed and you're getting de-approved. I'm not a big fan of hoaxes/false promises/whatever the hell you want to call it. |

Your screenshots are FAKE, i.e. you can't actually do what you've shown in them. This forum is for real ROM hacking, not "hey guys look what I can do in Paint!!" |

That "garbage" is actually caused by the layer 1 overworld tiles being replaced with the layer 3 title screen tiles:
It appears that FuSoYa simply hid the overworld in title screen editing mode by blanking out all the 16x16 tiles. However, he overlooked the fact that you can still place layer 3 tiles in the 16x16 area (below the map), which are then used to draw the hidden overworld. You can create a similar "glitch" in the overworld editor in exactly the same manner, by dragging a bunch of layer 2 tiles over the 16x16 area (though it WILL save the garbage tiles in this case, so be careful!). |

I woke up New Year's Day with a slightly sore chest (next to my right armpit) and left knee. A couple days later, they started to hurt REALLY bad, to the point where I could barely move, and then kept hurting for the ENTIRE month of January. Even today, I can feel a little soreness if I move just right.
I did get a little drunk the night before, but all we really did was play some board games and sit around talking about dirty, terrible things. I suspect that sleeping in a friend's chair might have been the culprit, but it seemed comfortable at the time...
I also tend to get unexplained--and also lengthy--leg cramps a couple times a month, which tend to make my workdays absolutely miserable. |

"Make Life Freedom"
See also: upside-down Windows logo. Heeheehee. I see cheap dollar-store crap like this all the time in local shops. I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole, lest it explode into a cloud of silicon and plastic confetti. ![]() |

| Well, that was 5 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Babelfish tends to make more sense than that guy.
And his Shyguy is ugly. |

| While digging through the various graphics files in search of nothing in particular, I stumbled across this thing in GFX04:
I'm sure I noticed it before, but never thought much of it. What could it possibly be? A walking fireball? Is there any unused sprite code whose behavior might match these frames? |

| The note was probably supposed to go with the Whistlin' Chucks. It is in the same GFX file, after all. | |||
