Guys, if you want the banks switched, either do it yourself, or talk to someone privately. I'm not going to allow a patch that contains 32-64KB of unaltered, copyrighted ROM data on this board. (Sonic hacks are the sole exception due to the nature of current hacking methods.)

Besides, posting such a patch only encourages laziness, and that's one thing we do NOT need more of here.

I honestly don't know why Dootuz was made red in the first place. All I did was de-approve him for posting in someone else's thread, and as far as I know he hasn't done anything remotely ban-worthy since. I don't see any harm in allowing him into ROM Hacking at this time.

Jurasskikr, on the other hand, can stay red for all of eternity for all I care.

For those that are curious, that's the special "Screw Your Neighbor" edition of DW:TLC, hacked by yours truly. The goal is to die as few times as possible!

- Life counter replaced with failure counter, which increments each time you die
- Each death gives you one use of the up+select powerup debug (number next to "TIME"), which has been modified to randomly give you either a feather or flower
- All 1-ups are added to your opponent's failure counter

Excuse me? How is fixing a programming error "useless"?

Working around the error by overwriting the fish graphics and adding new colors to the palette seems more "useless" to me.

I definitely prefer the good old bricks to turn blocks (blech), and the cape is terribly overpowered, but the rest of the changes in the final seem to have been for the better, in my opinion. At least it was something almost entirely new, instead of SMB3.5.

Also, I've talked to the guy with the magazines in the past, and there's really nothing else of interest (SMW-related, that is) in the magazines.
