I have a feeling this method would either kill Mario or push him out of the block. |
Perhaps we need to study how slopes work... (restricted) | (restricted) |

As Smallhacker already said, the entrance levels probably don't support FuSoYa's special objects, which are responsible for loading ExGFX, palettes, backgrounds, etc. |

Are you using ExGFX in your overworld? The only time I had glitching like you describe was when I tried to use ExGFX in my sky world. Apparently, there are two identical sets of overworld graphics in VRAM, and Fu's code only replaces one of them. |

I get good music stuck in my head quite often, although sometimes it STAYS stuck there, usually when I can't sleep, and eventually turns into annoying music. |

Oh, look, there's a new version of YY-CHR available. Perhaps it fixes the problem? |

It's okay if you have to read it more than once, everybody else did. *cloooooosed*

Yeah, uh, Wolverine's not exactly one of the best NES games ever made (and I doubt a lot of people have even heard of it). Very few good things ever came out of Acclaim/LJN. |

Video cards display hardware-accelerated video by internally replacing a specific color on the screen (R16 G0 B16, very dark purple). Since (AFAIK) this data is not passed through the video driver, screen capture programs will only see the dark purple overlay area. You can try disabling your video card's hardware acceleration, which should cause programs to render the video in software, though I don't know if it works with DVDs or not (I've only tried it with video files).
