It seems my thread is dieing so i figured I'd post to keep it alive. I'm still doing the palette stuff trying to get the right colors and I've now started to make some grunt and elite sprites (I suppose I should make jackals too...) Nespaled pisses me off alot though, but its a hell of alot easier than going through with a hex editor so I have no room to complain.

My friend and I used to have a little joke where we would talk about the "SNESP" and everyone would gather around us and ask us about it. In the end we pull out our GBA's and show them the SNESP. But personally I think that the snes wins due to the fact that you can't use the a super scope on GBA now can you...

No, get sonED 1 or esreal. hes a newb so working with sonED 2 might be hard for him since it deals with save states. I think that you should get one the editors I suggested and import levels from other roms. You'll have to work with them but you should get the hang of it.

Would it be possible to port starfox to a gba? No. There is another reason why the snes is better. Even if you needed upgrades for the snes, the gba can't reach the highest level of upgrade that the snes had. Sure it was in convenient to have but it still beats the gba.

PS what was that chip called? I think it was the Super FX but I can't remember.

I'm sorry I can't give you a faq but I did figure out how to do that when I was a newb. It can be done easily with both editors. Keep at it and guess. I'm sure you can figure it out.

All I did was go in and out of all the games 20 times each and I unlocked all of it. You don't have to play the game just begin to execute it and then exit it.

I don't know about you guys but my friend and I have both pre ordered the game. I'm planning on getting a wii but my friend isn't so we've got a plan. I get the wii version and he gets the gamecube version. Now I can just borrow my friends game to If I get tired of the wii controls.

I just found out from the guys at my gamestop that there is most likely going to be a special where you can turn in your gamecube and possibly a few games and get a significant price drop for the wii. This is not fact but they were hinting that it might happen. (Dang! I hope it does!)
