| Amidst the hustle and bustle of the train platform glided a solitary figure, towing a rather small luggage case behind him. The red and white robed character was rather short in stature, barely surpassing three and a half feet in height, and barely the same proportion in weight.
On the right shoulder of the figure sat a six inch, round, sky blue figure with big round eyes, stubby little arms, and equally bulgy feet. The creature looked up at the face of his carrier. Creature: "Keeent! Are we theeeeeere yet..." he complained in a slightly squeaky voice. Kent merely looked back down at him with large eyes that seemed to do all of the talking for him. The figure nodded. "Fine, I know what you'd say. 'Zaros, you complain too much'." Zaros said with a mock frown. "Just hurry up and get your ticket out already!" Kent smiled and shook his head. Digging through one of his pockets, he came upon a small golden ticket with various designs and information stamps upon it. He grasped it tightly in his hand as he approached the train conductor. The conductor stooped down to punch the golden article and tipped his hat to Kent, bidding him a safe ride. Kent began an attempt to climb aboard the train, but stopped. He looked at Zaros, who nodded and looked up at the conductor "Hey, can you give us a leg up? We're a little short on hands, no pun intended." Zaros called up to the conductor. The conductor spun around and looked down at Zaros, who was waving his little hands with a grin on his face. Kent was also smiling, sheepishly though. The conductor laughed. "What eh' curious little creature...". He lifted the small luggage bag that Kent was carrying up onto the platform, and then in another movement, hoisted Kent up to the train as well. "Enjoy yeh' ride." The conductor called. "Interesting little fella'. Though, he never spoke eh' word to me." Kent attempted to weave his way through the cramped quarters of the train in order to find a suitable cabin for him to stay in. This may have proved difficult, however Zaros in all his loudmouth glory gained enough attention to clear a path between the sea of robes and luggage. Kent squeezed his way into an empty compartment and shut the door, thankful for the quiet. Zaros hopped from his companion's shoulder and landed on top of a nearby seat, reclining. Kent pulled himself up to the same seat and closed his eyes, as the hustle and bustle continued outside his cabin door. | Kirby: *whispering* Get off. Your talons hurt when I'm not wearing a hat. Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't realize there was someone in here!
Kent snapped out of his dose and opened one grey eye. He glanced across the cabin to see Kirby with his owl Coo perched on his head. Kent reached his hand up and poked Zaros, who mumbled something about pie. Another jab in the side and Zaros snapped awake. Zaros: "Whazz'a... whadd'ya want Kent?" Zaros asked, rubbing his eyes. He looked down at Kent who was pointing to Kirby and Coo. "Oh... hey look, guests. Coming down!" Zaros took a mighty leap from the top of the seat he was perched on and landed on Kent's shoulder. Kent took a rather large yawn and sat up in his seat. (Which wasn't much, seeing as how tall he is) Zaros: "Hai guys. I'm Zaros, this is Kent." He said, motioning to his larger counterpart, who nodded at his name. "Some train, huh?" |

| Zaros leaped from the shoulder of Kent and did a "swan-dive" into the candy that was put into Kent's hand's. Kent selected a single candy bar, and then put Zaros (and the whole heap of candy) on the empty seat next to him.
Zaros: "Oh, SWEET!" he exclaimed, inhaling the candy with great gusto. Everyone in the cabin stared wide-eyed as the small pile of candy disappeared within seconds, wrappers and all. He patted his round body and burped out a cloud of red power, which began sparking in the air like miniature fireworks. Zaros climbed his way back up to the shoulder of Kent, who was sitting there, silently munching on his "Chocolate Volcano" (Which, happened to have a large amount of hot fudge drizzled over it) Zaros repositioned himself, and hiccupped slightly. Kent glanced at Zaros, who nodded Zaros: "So guys... Kent wants to know where you all come from..." (edited by Kattwah on 01-04-07 07:02 PM) |
