Bleh, AP isn't worth all the hardship, just test out of the class during your first semester. That way you get the A on your GPA instead of just generic credit.

But this is coming from a guy who skipped algebra 3/trig 71 times his senior year in high school. That probably qualified me as a slacker. But hey, it was first hour! I was hungry! And I didn't wanna be there either. Somehow the teacher fixed it to look as though I never took the class. I guess he figured if I didn't wanna be there and it wasn't required by the state that it should be my business. We were the only school in the area that didn't allow seniors to have partial days anyway.

I should have gone to class... but biscuits and gravy are so tasty...

And wow, that original two sentences became my boring rambling really quickly. I'd spare you guys, but backspace is way up there on the keyboard...

If you're calling Scientology harmless, I'd call Heaven's Gate harmless too. They kill themselves, not others. Same difference as Scientologists not seeking the necessary medical treatments in some cases.

My point was that if someone is stupid enough to join a suicide cult... I'm not even going to finish that sentence.

Being a danger to only yourself doesn't really qualify as being dangerous. Harmful? sure.

So yeah, Heaven's gate wasn't a harmless cult, but it also wasn't a dangerous one.

Pshh. No.
That's what college is for. Either you pick a major in something you think you'll like or you do what I did.

I took all kinds of different classes until I found subjects (GIS and geology) that really interested me. Then I declared my major. You never know if you'll like something until you've really been exposed to it.

Most people don't know what they wanna do out of high school. A lot of people don't know exactly what they wanna do after they get thier undergrad degrees. Me, I know the general areas I wanna work in but am not sure what kind of job I want in my field. You just gotta try things out and go with what works for you. I don't care how much money you make... if you hate your job you're not gonna be a happy person. Go with what you enjoy. You're not supposed to know what that is yet. So don't worry.
