I subscribe to the theory that the eggs are all clones and that each Yoshi dies horribly every time.

How can you hate storms in Summer? I love summer storms. A break from dryness is nice, and everything smells all nice after a rain (in the country, anyway... cities are gross.) And I like to go out and sing and play in the rain, which I can do unashamedly since I have a house in the middle of nowhere.

Plus, if there is summer rain (winter rain sounds different) on the roof and a bit of thunder I am a lot more likely to be able to sleep well at night. It's soothing.

I'm pretty sure the 'magic' argument wins and there's no longer any point in trying to dispute his logic.

I guess I have to hate you, Alastor. I've always been upset with God for making me exist without asking if I wanted to, but if I only exist in your mind then it's clearly YOUR FAULT. Eff you =P

Most girls I've talked to think that shorn pubes on a guy is stupid looking =P But a lot of girls DO like a shaved chest. I no longer care, because shaving the chest got to be too much of a bother. I still shave my back though. Back hair is disgusting. And nasty ...and gross.

that's one reason, yes. her mind changes a lot. sometimes, it seems like she never really grew up... it's just the way she is.

I've had an ex who was a lot like that. She ran hot and cold. I agree, that's not a situation you want to be in, chances are it'll end badly. I think if you want her as a friend you're right to expressly limit it to friendship right now, while you two are still ok with eachother.

Why? What makes your 18th birthday the day you automatically become mature? Or do you subscribe to the "Magic Day Theory?"

And keep in mind, through 20,000 years of human history women were giving birth to children whose fathers were likely that much older and no one EVER had a problem with it before.

I think that's definitely the case in this day and age. But it doesn't mean that an 18 year old shouldn't date. And if they want to date someone who's 27... and that's ok...

...Then why is the situation Dani suggested disgusting? I think that's kinda bullshit.

It's impossible to pick a "maturity age" because everyone matures differently. However, I don't think a 25 year old should be dating a 16 year old despite how mature she may be. It's illegal, and it's more than likely an issue with the guy wanting control.

18 isn't the universal legal age, either. It's very 17 here, and lower in other places.

My last girlfriend was 16. It most certainly wasn't about me being in control. We knew there were potential consequences and all that stigma, but we sat down and talked about it and decided we wanted to go for it because we had known each other for a long time and cared DEEPLY for one another. She was definitely mature enough to decide she wanted to have something with someone she loved even though she knew it would be a hard relationship to be in because of what everyone else thought. And there was no 'abuse' going on. We never had sex, even when she made a move. (I wasn't sure she was ready.) If anyone got hurt out of the deal it was me.

But don't tell me it was wrong. We were friends and we were close and we felt like we wanted to be together so we gave it a shot. Being in love is not wrong.

And yeah, it was somewhat illegal. So is homosexuality in most places. Does that make being gay some horrible immoral act as well?

Me not having sex with her was less an issue of me being afraid than it was a matter of me thinking we had all the time in the world to take it slow and to make sure that when we did do things like that it would be perfect. We did do several things that would have gotten me jail time =P

I see your point, but your earlier wording of "that just sickened me" kinda hit a nerve.

I wasn't popular in high school, but at least I knew that my friends were real friends who cared about me and that it didn't matter to them if I kept up social appearances.

Since I've gotten out, I have come to realize that my friends and myself were among the coolest people there. Screw social standing. The only thing that's any good for is getting you dates with blonde sorority chicks. It doesn't come in handy in any other way. And if it means hanging out with people who aren't your type of people, then it's not worth it.

Sorry for the somewhat off-topic.
