We quit playing M:TG after Alliances. With all the later expansions the colors tended to lose thier flavors... and all the old sets getting phased out of Type II with the block system killed it for us oldschoolers.

Plus we graduated from high school and didn't see each other every day to play.

Incidentally, I think Alliances was a great set and if I were gonna play any standalone block it'd be the Ice Age block. We used to play Al/Ice sealed deck games even after the starters/boosters became harder to find. Great set, great set...

Most of my card stock was lost when I totaled my second car. I had misplaced my decks and trade stock at the time though, which I eventually found. They were borrowed by a friend... until his little brother traded and sold them away #%^&#& >8(

I miss my red/green monkey deck... *sniff*

K-marts don't even exist where I live anymore. Today I waited in a line at a Wal-Mart Super Centre for literally half an hour because every line had at least 10 people in it. To make things even worse the cashier had to leave a few times because of some problems with products someone was purchasing .

Self checkout = love, especially since I no longer bother buying my beer at Wal-Mart.

It could also be a RAM slot on your mobo. I had that problem, but luckily have three RAM ports for the option of single or dual channel, so I just used process of elimination to figure out which one was bad and moved that stick over.

If you don't feel like burning memtest to a cd you could always just pull out your ram and stick one in at a time and repeat with the other stick(s) in either slot. If you find a configuration that works then you'll know it's a RAM issue.

If anyone who didn't want to wear a seatbelt didn't have too, our medical/auto insurance premiums would increase because there would be a significant increase in company risk.

I'd be too scared it wouldn't work to try something like that. Besides, stealing things like that isn't worth the potential risk anyway.

But um... isn't there one person to every 4 self checkout lanes? At our Wal-Mart it is that way, and the person has a clear view of each lane. Maybe the attendants at your Wal-Mart were apathetic/lazy.

That may be how the Mansonites you see act, but that's not most Goths. Most of the Goths I know are happy people who like to make others around them happy.

Really, I'd test my RAM, and if that's okay I'd assume I had a mobo/cpu problem.
I don't suppose you have another computer/mobo with the same slot/socket type sitting around anywhere?

I picked up a third wiimote last week or so. They didn't have any in my Wal-Mart, but I had to take a long drive so I hit another. There are certain towns in which you can usually find things like that whenever because the demographic isn't right for that sort of thing. That's how I got my ps3 on release night w/o waiting in any sort of line. (Easiest $500 I ever made.)

SNT:

I'd recommend camping your Wal-Marts on Monday nights (when they get in fresh shipments of electronics and toys and whatnot.) If that's not possible for you and you have trouble finding one, I'll send you the next one I find for cost plus the $5 or whatever that priority mail costs.

The Zellers here has those, but they have very precise scales and have the exact weight of each item in their database. If you were to scan one DVD but bag two, it'd start complaning. I mean I put my hat in the bag and it complained.

At Wal-Mart you can skip bagging for a lot of items because the system is so touchy I guess they got tired of it not liking perfectly legit goings-on.

Posted on 02-12-07 04:19 PM, in a... different question about shaving Link
I would say yes, it obviously would increase your risk of getting an STD. Skin is one of our best natural defenses, after all.

Wow. What kind of razor do you use? I NEVER EVER cut myself shaving (though I do sometimes get razor burn at the pants line when I do my chest.) And do you shave in the shower with just water and or soap? Good shaving cream works wonders. And a good razor with a semi-fresh blade is a must. Short strokes and some care are a good idea too.

And I hope you don't shave every day or even every other day. I couldn't deal with that kind of irritation anywhere but my face.

Out of curiosity, what made you decide to start shaving down there? I tried it but hated the way it looked.

Oh, and if you didn't mind a little stubble you could always get a small trimmer and trim the hair at skin-level.

Of all the Targets, Kmarts, and Wal-Marts I've been in, they're all basically the same.

The Targets may be a little more spacious and have nicer displays, to appear more upscale and get you to spend more on the same thing, but all three of them are equally clean (since they're dealing with the same health codes), sell the same products, and have the same amount of underpaid, non-unionized employees.

If you think its cool or trendy to shop at Target, and not Wal-Mart, well, you're just an idiot, sorry.

Uh, no. Maybe wherever the hell you live, but I've been in all three, and walking through Wal-mart usually means dealing with (sigh) areas on the floor that obviously haven't been cleaned in a while, or areas where aisles were removed but they never cleaned up what was underneath it (so it's all nasty and brown, and full of small holes), not to mention some of the shelves aren't up right and it just looks like crap in general.

K-mart is the same way.

Target, on the other hand, usually has very clean floors, and everything's ordered nicely and easy to find without wasting hours.

It's worth wasting an extra dollar or two for the added cleanliness that Target has.

The Wal-Marts here are always clean, and they remodel the stores every 4-5 years. Targets are... meh to me. The aisles are too wide, wasted space. And the whole atmosphere just comes off as tacky to me.
