The Wal-Marts here are pretty nice, save the one in West Monroe... that one sucks now because they rearranged and the shelving setup makes it feel like a damn K-Mart.

There's only one K-Mart (a Big K) left in North Louisiana that I know of. It sucks lots.
Super Target is... too expensive. I don't like having to walk all the way to the back of the store for crappy toy and movie selection either. And I just don't like the way the place is decorated. Bleh on Target. The only thing good they have going for them is their pharmacy section, which I will admit pwns Wal-Mart. Neither of them have what I'd call a wonderful beer selection. Or meat or soda or what have you, so I usually do my grocery shopping at a REAL grocery store. Which has the added bonus of me not walking out with so much stuff I don't need.

Wal-Mart Crime Report (how dangerous your Wal-mart is, basically)

One of my friends who manages at the Wal-Mart here in town told me that they had almost $1 million in stolen merch last year, predominantly from employee theft.
That sounds a bit high to me, but maybe he wasn't exaggerating.

Australia ALWAYS wins in Risk. I think you have it made already.

*edit* Though I notice there are TWO THREE (I'm an idiot) large island nations. That ought to make it a bit more interesting.

My best friend has three copies of SotN and the bastard won't sell me one.
I had to burn a copy of his greatest hits version. Sadly, my modded ps2 died. Maybe I'll get around to downloading an emulator, but that's kinda in the air, considering I still haven't even installed all my programs and devices from when I formatted last.
I've developed a bad case of computer laziness I guess.

Thanks!!

And really, sealed in a little box and everything... shipping is cheap. I'd send things like that in flat fee priority mail sleeves.

Once I'm done with this one and I get some better tools, I'll consider making more things for people.

My Windows box crashing every 45 minutes.

And not being able to get my wireless card to install with ndiswrapper so I can start really learning how to use my Linux box.

They won't try to "completely" fix your prescription because once you overcorrect something that's it, there's no going back.

One of my good friends from high school had her eyes done. Her dad is an eye surgeon, actually. I went to visit her a few weeks after she had it done and she said it was one of the best decisions she ever made. She wears glasses/contacts not at all now.

I may not know much about it from experience but from knowledge certain eye surgerys (spelling?) can be risky.

Cataract removal can be pretty risky. Often if the surgery doesn't go off without a hitch the eye will swell, stretching the lens and leaving wrinkles or waves in it when the swelling goes down.

Apparently my dad has had serious episodes like that before but managed to come out of it enough to know he needed sugar. He doesn't take care of himself as well as he should and we worry about him living alone...

That kinda makes life bad. But peanut butter milkshakes make life goooooooood.

I make them myself. It's cheaper and I can have them whenever I want. You are allowed to have a blender in the dorm, right?
