On the other hand, you could have a situation like the physics classes here. You have to buy a course pack, a liscense for the online homework program, AND a new book. The beginning of a quarter always sucks that much more for having to buy books...

Yeah! Brown bread is by far superior. I don't see why white bread would have something wheat or rye bread doesn't though... but I suppose it's possible.

I usually get multi-grain german dark wheat bread when I can find it, though I'll settle for dark rye in a pinch.

*edit* Hyper, I'd have finished the bottle anyway, what's a bug here and there?

Run really fast, don't make mistakes. Are you trying to use the fire crawly enemies for recharge or the bugs coming out of the tube? Because you should have no problem getting to full on the bugs, just stand on the edge of the tube and spam fire.

In the room where you have to morph ball, there is an e tank in the top that you can reach by bomb jumping. I made it thru without getting it, but it took me MANY tries. Optimize your route, shoot doors before you get to them, and in the final room, wall jump from the wall on the left, not the right. It saves you a wall jump and therefore time.

I'd be lying if I said I've never done that.
I sometimes have mayonaise sandwiches too. Those sometimes usually happen when I'm out of meat and cheese and soup and milk (because PB without milk would be torture.)

I also put butter on my PB sandwiches unless I have mayhaw jelly. They're good that way.
I've recently discovered Peter Pan honey flavored PB. It is the sweetness.

the way out isn't precisely the way in. after getting the ice beam and recharging (and saving) instead of going back down and waiting for the platform to carry you over the lava go all the way to the left and make a running jump up to the ledge. That leads to a faster way out.

I couldn't get the laptop to connect running through just the modem either. It seems like not being able to connect AND not being able to access my router's internal setup is a coincidence.

I get the little or no connectivity thing occasionally when I'm setting up peoples' networks or computers, but usually if I fiddle around enough it goes away. I've formatted this laptop and used the utility cd for drivers many times and it has always worked. I'm fairly convinced it's a case of Windows being a shit OS. Maybe it's finally time I tried to learn Linux...

I haven't heard from my friend Caroline in a few days.

I read on her xanga a little while ago that she'll be gone for the next month or two to rehab in Florida.

I hate it when I don't know what's going on with friends.

I knew she smoked pot some. And also that she did x. I gave her my lecture about that and then let it go since she was gonna do whatever she was gonna do. Apparently she's done coke too. I'm guessing she got caught with something.

But I don't understand it. She's only 16, (I hate to say she's a kid, that makes me feel old and isn't totally fair to the mature teenagers) and she's smart. And she's pretty and athletic (she can beat my ass in tennis) and has everything going for her.

Why even get into drugs?

I mean, we all know how dangerous they are. And we all know about consequences. Me? I'd be too afraid to even try something like that the first time.

I don't get it.

Though I do know people who are that stupid. Unfortunately "they" are the wife of a friend so I either have to avoid doing things with him (which sucks sometimes) or put up with being around her even though I want to bash her skull in with a brick.

So maybe he is that stupid.

I've missed Sevendust twice when I had tickets. Also missed Ozzy. I missed Tonic when they played at school too.

I missed Corrosion of Conformity and the next day at work EVERYONE had to tell me how awesome the show was. Bastards...


I won't miss Blind Guardian this December unless I'm bleeding to death in an alley. I'll probably catch them in New Orleans but may do Houston instead, even though I hate Houston. It'd be about the same trip either way.

Alcohol's not bad if you just drink occasionally because you like having a drink.

Me? I love the taste of beer, and I like having beers I've never had before when I go to new places. I don't drink to get blitzed of because I need it to have a good time, I just enjoy the drink when I do.

I think weed makes a pretty good anti depressant for me (since everything else has had nasty side effects) but I still don't smoke it. I would never consider going out and buying it, and smoking is nasty. Plus I have my singing voice to worry about. It's bad enough being around band members who smoke.
Plus, people who smoke pot more than a handfull of times a year tend to more obviously be stoners, and that's not necessarily cool.

But yeah, Caroline was doing X every day and lost her virginity while on drugs and had done coke a few times at least. So that's no good.
