| Throwing up doesn't bother me in the least. I'm bulimic, after all.
Think along other lines. Rapid expansion of gas in your stomach does more than just cause vomit-inducing turbulence. |

| I like roleplaying, but don't know if I could sim battle or otherwise freeform. I grew up with dice. I'm of the mentality that a roleplayer should always play in the best interest of the character as best he/she can while staying within character. I dunno if I could roleplay an attack failing without some real reason for it to fail or the dice telling me so.
I'm NOT a powergamer and I think heavy roleplay light dice is the way to go, but I do believe in the random element out of player control being necessary sometimes. My question is... how does it really work w/ random chance and no DM? A lot of people swear by freeform roleplaying, so it must be enjoyable. How does one adjust? *Eyes his stack of 1st and 2nd Ed. AD&D books...* Old habits die pretty hard. |

| I'm lactose intolerant.
I drink milk and eat ice cream anyway. Ice cream is good, and milk can't be done without after chocolate or cookies or pb sammiches. Sure, they have those tablets you can take before you eat, but those things are expensive. I don't eat ice cream very often becaue I obsess about my weight, but I drink milk daily. It's worth the tummy ache. |

I'm usually around, the past 2 days have been a fluke
If you don't see me on the boards then by all means hit my AIM (astinus 9) or my alternate AIM (kasdarack) and tell me to play. I'll be going out of town on the 28th but I'll take my laptop and a mouse and I'm sure I'll be able to find someone's wireless or jack in somewhere. I should be around all night tonight if you guys wanna play. Just message my AIM (I'll turn the volume way up) and I'll come running. |

| Weather's peachy here. I went to the lake yesterday (omgz Kas skipped a Monday someone call teh boss) and took a long walk along the creek taking cool pictures and digging up fresh water mussels. Sandy bottom ftw. Went swimming after that and got my first official shaved head sunburn. It was pretty hot out but not too humid. *Looks out the window* weather's nice today too.
Shame I have to go to work now. I should get a job teaching high school science and have summers off. |

| Fine, don't take the meat bridge...
Baskin Robbins is my favorite because they're the only place I've ever found that had lemon custard ice cream. It's a perfect companion to a scoop of one of the chocolate flavors. Sadly there are no more BRs around here. There's a Coldstone about an hour away but I've never eaten there. (edited by Kasdarack on 07-18-06 10:26 AM) |

| If you don't want your dogs digging out there's a VERY simple solution. Go buy yourself some chicken wire at your local co-op or farm supply store or... your hardware store will probably even have it. Wal-Mart might. Lay it out at the edge of the fence (maybe even under it a bit if you can) and throw dirt on top of it. They'll try to dig a few times, hit the wire, and realize that they can't get through it and it hurts to try and that'll be the end of that. | |||

| Braces weren't THAT bad. Sure, there was soreness after getting them tightened. I didn't go to all the trouble they preach about on brushing... just brush like normal in the morning and before bed... and before certain social functions. It's not a big deal.
My problem was breaking my hardware. I snapped the wire several times and I broke the braces off of my teeth ALL THE TIME. I chew on things. I played football. That sucked because my orthodontist would always give me a lecture, as if he wasn't getting fucking paid to work on me. Asshat... I couldn't keep a retainer either. I broke several and lost one in the mall trashcan. I finally said fuck it and my teeth didn't really move much. They are still straight. My bottom teeth are a little fucked now but that's because my wisdom teeth came in and I didn't have room despite getting 4 molars cut out. I kept my bottom retainer in for several years and never did go back to the orthodontist. I finally just popped it off with a spoon and got my dentist to shave off the excess cement the next time I saw him. |

| My middle name is Danielle.
Wite... if you're not able to make yourself talk to her alone... maybe it's something that will become a non-issue after that first time. If you can't bring yourself to do it, maybe just... next time you are around her and thinkingof asking her out just go ahead and lean over and ask her quietly if she'd like to go have coffee or something later. Then you'll be committed and not have to be nervous about it anymore. I understand that askinga girl out that first time can feel even more awkward than it actually is. I've asked girls out and that's just how it is sometimes. But if you like her and she likes you there's no reason notto go for it. She'll probably think it's kinda cute that you're nervous... And if she's manufacturing reasons to be alone with you she probably realizes that it can be hard for a guy to make that first move so she's trying to make it easy for you. Man... I love that feeling you get when you have a new girlfriend. I hope this works out for you. *looks at his birth certificate* Yep, definately Jonathan Rebekah Danielle Stewart. No smacks for me. *whistles* |

| Wow. Thanks for the birthday wishes!
I had a great birthday. Didn't do a whle lot day of, just worked on a custom TF and did a bit of yardwork. My mom and her BF treated me to dinner though, and it was nice. On Saturday I got up early and cleaned the pool and finished yard/housework. My ex g/f and pur friend Maddie came over and brought me lunch and we hubg out for a few hours, and then later that afternoon my friend Melissa came to town and brought an extremely gorgeous girl for me to meet. Seriously... this was the only dark haired girl I've ever seen with freckles. She was a lot of fun too. We went out to eat and had a couple of beers, and then we came back to the house and had shots. When it got late I took them home and swung by the drvie through liquor store (gotta love Louisiana) and got them some frozen drinks too since it was an hour's drive to get them home. We had a blast, they're fun to hang out with. Yesterday I got a bunch of meat and had about 10 friends over and mi familia and I grilled 6 pounds of my famous burgers, some brats, and a whole salmon. My mom's BF came over early and helped me get the place ready, which was awesome of him. He also brought beer and drinks. I figure that was pretty fuckin cool of him. The party was an overwhelming success. The food was excellent, the company was excellent, the beer was excellent. After dark we shot off all the fireworks I'd bought for the fourth, and then we played some Super Smash Bros. tournaments. Fun stuff. We also tacked a bunch of cardboard to the wall of the carport because I got a new dart board for my birthday. We all threw terribly. It was sad (still fun though.) I also got a few books and new a TF and a really cool hat and a new pair of cowboy boots. I need to do these three-day birthday things every year. Totally awesome. So yeah, that's why I've been MIA the past several days. |
