I'm not a huge fan of being beholden unto anything myself, but when you really need to you really need to. I don't take meds that make me drowsy, they just regulate something or other to let me fall asleep if I try to. I don't take them often but its nice to have the assist when I really need to sleep and can't.

I take temazepam, which does not affect REM sleep and doesn't eliminate any of the other sleep stages, so I get a perfectly good nights' sleep.

My computer is next to my bed so I keep my wallet and glasses and random jewelry on it. I also usually have a netMD and discs and a flashlight in easy reach. You'll often find an empty glass or bottle of whatever I had to drin earlier there too.

I never eat ramen. The only time I can remember eating it is after a show (Sevendust and Coal Chamber) because when we made it to where we stayed the night all the girl had to eat in the wntire house was a chicken breast, some ramen, and a jar of salsa. So we had salsa ramen chicken. Needless to say, I've had better post-concert fare.

Your freshman year in high school will be your best opportunity in the next 4 years to make good new friends. You'll probably meet some pretty interesting new people. You'll probably have some crazy good times.

I went to a private school, so we didn't have a mixing of middle schools or a massive influx of new kids, but we still got several new people in my freshman class and most of them are still really good friends of mine.

My ex roomate eats a lot of ramen. He claims it's because it's extremely cheap and he likes it, but that's a half-truth at best. He really only eats it because he's a Narutard. I've noticed that he doesn't really buy it anymore now that he no longer watches any Naruto or as much other anime as he used to.
