Change the Sprite GFX to one that supports Magikoopa. You should at least know how to do that.

ExGFX might be a little too complicated for Lishy right now... But I may be wrong.

If you want an easier way to fix Magikoopa's sprite, open a castle level. Click the purple Poisonous Mushroom, and look at the bottom dropdown box. See that number? Select that set in your level. Note that tileset specific sprites will be glitched up if not in the specified tileset.

But that's just my suggestion. Feel free to attempt ExGFX.

And no, Extended Animated Tile GFX is not it. It's the blue and yellow mushrooms, but it's much more complicated than anything you've done so far.

Give them a I.D., so that way, when they try to get your stuff, they might recontact you. If they do, act like a 5 year old. Or better yet, an old and confused senior citizen.

I've gotten e-mails that have questionable stuff in the subject line. (A bunch of letters, etc.) Not to mention the infamous penis-enlargement email.

You'd think he'd try to get his own domain name or something. But no, scammers are never smart.

Oh. I've done that type of thing before... But if I ever tried it on Rainbow Road, chances are I'll fall off or a head-on collision into the wall. I liked how the Rainbow Road in MK: Super Circuit worked; the ramps on the sides of the course helped me skip about half of it; shaving off about an extra 30 seconds or so on the total time. I just watched the replay yesterday, and I just couldn't believe how I managed to do that.

If I can pull off that PRB, I might be able to be about 20 seconds in front of my sister. I already can get ahead of her by 10 with minimal snaking. She doesn't play much...

I remember when I was playing Wi-Fi, I had to eat since the food was ready. I hit Start, thinking I could pause it. (I had no idea what I hell I was thinking.) I put the DS down for about a minute, and I realized what happened. The guy just finished.

There was this other time when my cellphone died, so I had to use the payphone outside to get my sister's friend code. As I got up, I hit my leg on a metallic chair bolted to the floor. It made a loud "CLANG" noise. I looked around, and saw that everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at me.

That really isn't an interesting or funny story, really. What would've been interesting and funny is if the computer exploded, and someone's head bursted into flames.

Haha... I just imagined a comical fist entrance. Huge earthquake, slightly imtimiadting music. For one second after the 'quake, nothing happens. Then, all of a sudden, *BOOM!* A fist punched its way out of the sand.

I could've sworn I've seen that secret world before. I remember the weird palette-work.

Can't therapy help schizophrenic people, or is ridiculously expensive, extensive therapy is needed?

Just had an earthquake. At first, I thought it was some giant truck driving by. It took me a few seconds to realize what it was, and I was a bit stunned. It first started out like a truck as I said, and gradually got bigger. It suddenly stopped at some point. I'm actually still a bit shaky, since my imagination ran wild. Things probably would've been better if I were walking in the hallway, so I crash into a few walls or fall. That'd be funny. What the funny thing was is that for about half of the 'quake, I was playing Dragon Quest VIII.

You know what I would've done? If I had a lot of time and was bored, I'd tape a knife to a long stick and try to stab one. If I wanted a quick kill, I'd find a mallet or something that can easily smash it. Or maybe a baseball bat...

We have AOL... It's because my dad is way too stubborn. (My mom doesn't know too much about computers, so she tries to stay uninvolved.) So faster ISP's are a few dollars more. So what if there needs to be professional installation. FREE PHONE LINES AND FAST SPEEDS, GODDAMMIT. GAAAAAH.

Requests are for BEHAVIORAL changes, not GRAPHICAL changes. What you're asking can be done by anyone who knows how to edit GFX, and you can actually edit a Chargin' Chuck's GFX in LM instead of a tilemap editor. Just look up the Lunar Magic help file or search on Google for GFX tutorials instead of asking for help the first moment you run into a problem.

Heh. We just had an earthquake last night. Apparently, it was a 4.4. It lasted 10 seconds, and for the first half of it, I thought it was a giant truck driving by. Not a single thing fell in a room; not even the few water bottles on my printer or a paper cat I made that's sitting on my TV.

Have you even heard of Cory's ExGFX tutorial, Google, or the Lunar Magic help file?

... Just click the help menu in Lunar Magic and select "Contents".

You just don't get it, do you? No one will do you levels for you. Do them yourself. If everyone does a level for you, which they won't, you'll suck at making levels as much as you do now.

*sigh* Open Lunar Magic. See that toolbar that has File, Edit, etc.? The very last one is Help. Click that. You'll see contents. Click that.

Posted on 08-03-06 10:37 PM, in SMW gfx [people forgot level design and FUN] Link
This really relates to casual gamers in a way. Casual gamers now want all these bloody, gorey, graphically awesome games. They don't care if it's fun. They call it fun if it fits their criteria, which has nothing about true fun. As for players that play hacks, they flock to a game that has great graphics. It's not as common, no, but it still exists. Some so-called "hackers" just focus on getting the ExGFX first, and then slightly edit a level. It sickens me. There needs to be more hacks like SMO or TLC. Those stood out, and were truly unique. I like hacks that have ExGFX, yes, but if someone can manage to stick with original GFX within a great hack, I'll be amazed.
