It's not the pipe patch, it's the pipe blocks that causes the slowdowns. Just remove the pipes from blocktool and reinsert the blocks into your hack, should work. Else try to save the blocks on a low map 16 number like 3 - 7 or so.

Well, it wasn't the Map16 that screwed up, it was ZSNES 1.42 that can't handle my hack for some reason. I got 1.36 and it works fine.

Edit: Made some corrections, being tired as hell.

Well, I can send you a beta of my hack, too. It's not finished yet but contains some really nice things.

Pros:
HDMA effects
some new sprites
Health Bar
Many ExGFX
Nice level design (made it a little bit easier)

Cons:
Not finished
Can only be played with ZSNES 1.36 or Snes9x

The pipes slowed down my hack too, but never caused any glitches or something.
Have you installed them right i.e. set them to whatever they need to be set? Or added them to a Map 16 page lower than A?

Open up Sprite Paint, open your ROM, type in the number of the sprite you want to change the palette for, click on OK or Enter and type in a palette number from 8-F where ABCD are the palettes for the koopas and other sprites. Just fiddle around with it.

I voted for BMF. His hack is pure ownage, seriously.

Edit: I voted for Bouche and Cwiarl, too. Why? Bouche allowed us to use SMAS music in SMW and Cwiarl's graphics are just soooo damn awesome, that I'd continue his hack, lol.
