My favorite villain of all time has to be Albert Wesker from the Resident Evil series. His motivations for all of his actions might be a little vague, is it power or money or both that he wants.
Spoiler:
It's obvious that he has no ideal for his corporations because he seems to jump to a from them based on the highest bidder. That doesn't necessarily mean he's in it for money he just might need the money to get the research done. Also, I love his obsession with Chris, his desire to get back at him and the rest of the STARS team for exposing Umbrella was great.
He's just an all around awesome villain, truly evil and that's what makes him great.

I know that catholics don't (or at least shouldn't, because it isn't in the doctrine) believe that people that are not catholics go to hell. In the catholic faith it is believed that if you are a truly good person that is equivalent to belief. If, say, there is a person in the middle of an uncivilized (I use this lightly, not to mean that these people are evil or without intelect) area where there is no religion but treats people with respect and love they will be accepted into heaven. As well as those who believe in other religions, such as judaism, islam, hindu, budhism, etc. If they are truly good people God will be pleased with them and they will be greeted at the gates of heaven.

Purgatory is a wierd thing, some catholics believe in it, others don't. It doesn't come directly from scripture, it was concieved sometime in the second milenium (I'm not too good with dates, but I'm thinking 1400's). It's an interesting concept, but I'm not sure whether or not I believe in it. And the concept of purgatory is not for people with grave sins such as murder or rape, or anything attrocious like that, but more for people with minor sins. The distinction between grave and minor sins is really hard to tell, is adultury a grave sin worthy of damning someone to eternal punishment, or is it just a really bad minor sin that will keep someone in purgatory for a longer time than someone who makes fun of people. It's really impossible to determine from here on earth.

I rate my perfect games based on how hard I have to try to get everything. Say in Super Metroid, I'm to the point where I don't have to think to get above 90% in under three hours, so I'd say that's perfection (basically, the remaining percent items are things that I deem unnecessary and don't feel like going back and getting, but if I want full percent I just make sure to go and get them). Also, in Super Metroid, getting items in totally out of order ways through clever wall and bomb jumping. It's good times. So yeah, doing things like that in any game is how I rate perfection.

I've heard that commandment interpreted many different ways. One of which is that if you are aware and believe in God (meaning, not just someone telling you that there is one God, but that you understand it and really believe it) you shall not worship any other god.
There's also the idea that if you live a good life you are infact worshiping God by doing his will of loving one another.
Also, it could be viewed as don't worship unimportant things like money, material posesions, etc.

That's what I have to say about that.

I don't think I could ever do that, but I do know that my friend had never seen the best ending in super metroid, so I say down and played it, beat it in about 2:15, and had 93% completion. Now mind you, this was basically going through to show him the good ending and to get items that you need extra powers to get before you get those powers to get the "Aww, ohh" affect.

On the EB thread, I've never tried the 1/128 items because of the luck involved. I hate those things, but I did once try to get the Sword of Kings for Poo and fought for about 10 hours with those crazy starmen, but never got it. Then about a year ago, I was playing it and one of the starmen gave me the sword. I didn't go around searching for starmen, it was just one of the ones on the way, never been so happy with myself in EB in my entire life.

I played Basketball and Tennis for my highschool when I was there. But other than organized sports (I still played basketball in leagues) I find myself playing a lot of Ultimate, Soccer, Football, and endless hours of basketball at the gym. I just started up running again, but that's more to stay in shape and not as a sport.

I think this is really funny because all the people I know who did cross country were in places that were really competitve and the slow people ran 6:30 miles. My roommate kicks some serious ass in running, he did a half marathon at a 5:43 pace. I don't think I could ever run that fast for a single mile, let alone 13.

Does anyone know how to take a .jpg and covert it to a .ico

I'm trying to change my desktop icons for recycle and my computer etc.

I have photoshop 6 and it doesn't have that as an extension. I've tried removing the .jpg extension and replacing it with .ico but that didn't work..

BRADY QUINN FOR HEISMEN!

That's about all I gotta say. I'm pissed that I'm missing the entire ND football season over here in London, but we've got a 100 people that say we can get any bar to show the games with the fact that there will be well over 1000 drinks ordered during the game. Can't wait for the season to start, nobody outside of students and people who donate buildings are getting tickets to the games, it's gonna be an awesome season. And I'm just gonna put this out right now, ND v Ohio State Fiesta Bowl Rematch, should be quite a showdown, and I'm gonna sell everything that must be sold to get tickets to that game cause I've already got a place to stay down there.

And I leave you with a great quote about the massive number 99, the scariest person I've ever met, hailing from Detroit, abiding in the illustrious Alumni Hall, Ronald Talley

"The 6-foot-4, 262-pound Talley brings a menacing presence to the Irish line, and not just with an imposing frame. Unlike quieter teammates Abiamiri and Landri, Talley will, on occasion, open his mouth before the ball is snapped.
What does he say?
"Intimidating things," he deadpanned, drawing nervous laughs from several reporters."

Anybody know where that official recall site might be located. I bought an 12 inch iBook G4 in May and I sure as hell don't want it blowing up. I've never been good at knowing if laptops are running too hot because I always think they're hotter than they should be (My desktop runs at about 17C). Anyways, thanks if anyone knows where to look that up, because I couldn't find it on apple's site.

Article.

So, Ohio is implementing a social registry of accused sexual offenders. This is outrageous, especially the claims that this is only a registry and will not affect those accused, even though they go through no trial to get on the registry. This goes directly against the concept of protection from undue process. I know a guy who got accused of rapping a woman a few years ago, and after some investigation the police determined that the accusation was totaly unfounded and that he was innocent. That didn't matter though, the damage was done, he had to move out of the area (he actually left the state) because he couldn't stand the way people looked at him and treated him, because to them he was a rappist. The same thing is going to happen here, people will be accused, but this time, it won't just be the public blacklisting them, it'll actually be the government, restricting where they can live, making them go through their neighborhoods telling everyone that they are an accused (but not convicted) sex offender. I'm pretty sure that most people will hear that as "I'm a sex offender" and just not pay attention to that key word, accused. I am for making those who are convicted sexual offenders go through this process, because it is a necessary way of protecting those who could be in danger, but to implement these procedures on people who haven't been proven guilty (because as I last heard the burden is on the prosecution to prove guilt and not the defendant to prove innocence) is such an abhorent violation of civil liberties. I really hope that this gets the kabosh by Courts before innocent people get hurt by it. What do you all think of this?

Miami FSU, what a shit game. I mean, if these are supposed to be good schools they should be able to put up a little bit of offensive numbers. That was just rediculous, and my man Kyle Wright, not holding it down like he used to back in high school when we played bball together.

The ND game was the most stressful thing I've ever watched, but we showed some toughness and got the victory. Definately not what I wanted from the game, but a w is a w and I think it'll shock the team into being prepared for Penn. Suprisingly, our numbers weren't that bad, but nowhere near the numbers we were putting up last year, we need to fix that, and soon.

Cal v Tenn, ouch, that's all I can say, that was just painful to watch. My bears used to be so close to being so good, but now they just go ahead and open up with probably the worst performance from them in the past four years. Hopefully they can do a little better, and give USC a good game to regain some clout.

I can't wait for the Ohio v Tex game, that's gonna be great, hopefully I can find a bar that'll play that game over her in London, cause it's hard enough convincing the sports bar over here to play the ND game, but when you bring 100 people who are all buying drinks at 3pounds a piece, money kicks in and they say ok.

And back to the opening of this entire topic, there is no question about it, College football is not only better than the NFL, it is the greatest collection of sporting events for any sport, nothing beats the fall semester and all the games that it entails.

I know it was supposed to be a defensive game, but still, 3 yrds total rushing on nearly 50 rushes, that's attrocious. I know some teams can win on defense, but you still need some semblance of offence to pull through. And if you have no ability to rush, then other teams defenses are going to have a field day blitzing to speed up the pass, and just dumping extra coverage in the back field. Maybe it was just first game needing to get all the kinks worked out, but if either of those teams don't improve they're both looking towards a very bad season.

You should've seen the 7 penn state fans at the sports bar we were at during that game. Before the game they were talking all this trash, but afterwards I don't think any of the 100+ nd students (not including alums and regular fans) there could hear one bit of their tears. I love how we looked that last game, actually showed a semblance of an offence, unlike the first game. And Tommy Z [youtube video], god, what a badass [more youtube]. In case you didn't know he had a boxing match [google video] which pretty much shows why there should be a rule saying that Tommy Z is not allowed to stiff arm anyone, for fear of death to the opposing player. Anyways, definately think good things are on the way for this season, and seeing how OSU handled Texas, I'm gonna stick with my prediction of a ND v OSU rematch in the Fiesta Bowl come January. Ah, college football, nothing better.

Yay for turning 21, except I'm in london and have been legal for a month. But Duke of York, Having to explain how to make a whisky sour to a bartender (2 shots whisky, 1 shot lemon/lime juice, a splash of 7up/sprite/squirt), sports cafe were all amazing. Ah, the joys of birthdays, especially big ones. Too bad I could've had my own case for half the price that it cost me to get 2 pints, one whisky sour, and 4 bottles of beer. Good Times, and yes, getting it on at new years makes the best babies.

So, Apple just put out the new version of iTunes and I think they've done a great thing with it. As far as I can remember, I cannot think of any other version change that brought so much new stuff with it (started using iTunes in 2004). Asthetically, I miss the brushed iron look it used to have. I'm a huge fan of the new viewing method with placing all the album artwork into a line and being able to browse that way. It brings back the feeling of actually owning the CD a little more, getting to see the album artwork whenever I want to play music, and I find it a lot easier to find albums quickly because I can recognize the artwork very easily. I haven't tried this out yet, but the movie downloads are a genius plan. A lot of people are complaining that it's only Disney owned movies, but there are some great ones out there. And the lack of selection just reminds me of iTunes back in its begining when there weren't that many musical artists on it. If the movies succeed then the other movie studios will release there movies to apple and more fun for us. What do y'all think about the changes made to iTunes.

Go to London, you're bound to see a handful of them on a given weekend (maybe it's only one and the owner is just driving it around because that's all I'd do if I had the money to own a car that crazy fast). But yeah, moving to London, I never thought I'd see so many increadibly expensive cars. Automobile mag did an article on the Veyron a while back, and one of the test drivers nearly carrined the car into a wall on the Laguna Seca raceway. Managed to stop his slide/spin less than a foot away from the wall. And I'd take a 911 GT3 any day over a veyron, just me, and I'd save a shit load of money in the process.

I didn't read the article, but from that quote, if it's correct, then this is gonna get shot down right quick by the Sup.
