| Everyone on campus is making bets with their friends who aren't from ND that the ND v Ohio state game will get more people watching it than the USC v. Texas game. It'll be interesting to see, I think they'll both get basically the entire nation watching. They'll both be increadible games, can't wait til the 2nd to rush the field after ND beats Ohio. | |||

| Yes, this show is awesome. I mean, it's probably the most politcaly incorrect and offensive piece of art out there but hey, sometimes we need that, like Speedy Gonzales being hopped up on Crack. We have the whole first season and i've only seen the first episode of the new season but it's definately a must see if you're not offended too easily. | |||

Take last year for example, Cal only had one loss, to USC and they were the only team that came close to beating them last year, and instead of sending Cal to the Rose bowl the BCS sent Texas. Now, anyone from Cali knows that the Rose bowl is Pac-10 v. Big-10, and for some reason they desided to send Texas, effectively removing the Rose bowl from future BCS games. Yup, the obvious choice was Ohio STATE (jeez, people can be so picky) v. Cal and because that didn't happen the Rose bowl is ending their contract with the BCS after this year. And I feel Oregon's pain, they should be there, but they aren't. And I'm definately gonna have to disagree with you on the ND v Ohio State game cause, well, we've only lost by a total of 6 points, and we held SC to their best game this year. And right now, except for that lack of respect for Standford, we're clicking on all cylinders. It should definately be a great game, everyone around here is thinking 31-28 or something like that. | If the ND v USC game went the other way ND would be No. 2 right now, and if Ohio State beat Texas (damn, I wish I had caught that game) then Ohio would be first, and wow, that would've been increadible. If we only hadn't lost to State, what an atrocious loss that ended up being. I can't wait for this years bowl season, it's gonna be glorious. | |||

| Horrible, the BCS would love to see ND in the national championship game. And if ND and OS only had 1 loss a piece they would definately be above Penn. They played great this year, but if they had equal records to ND and Ohio State they would not be above them. | |||

| Um, just pointing out some things, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, etc. is not possible with infinity. Infinity is just a concept that is used to simplify solutions. And dividing X/0 does not equal infinty, it's an undefined concept. But if you take the equation X/Y and let Y approach 0 it results in infinity, but this is just a way of saying, the number becomes irrationally large.
Also, with integrals, the base of the rectangles that are being summed to find the area of the function never actually reach 0, just extremely small values. Don't mean to be an oldfashioned math person but I gotta say that division by 0 is undefined in all it's forms and 0 multiplied by anything is 0, no matter how large that thing is. I guess I got beat to part of my explanation (edited by Young Guru on 12-15-05 07:30 PM) |

| math is fun. I especially like when you get into vector spaces, because there is no division, only multiplication and addition/subtraction. it makes life simple and kinda explains this. So, you can multiply vector A by the 0 and get a zero vector. Now, if you want to divide A by the zero vector you'd have to multiply A by the inverse of the zero vector. But the zero vector has no inverse so you cannot divide by 0, at least in vector spaces.
That might be kinda off. i've just spent the last 5 hours going through 4 tests and one entire book of linear algebra and a third of a book of O.D.E.s (edited by Young Guru on 12-16-05 01:16 AM) |

| I use lololol and I run my website off my school server. It's just that the server is really anal and if you don't capitalize everything correctly it doesn't work, so when I'm not at my computer where I can directly access my files it's sometimes hard to remember how to get to some files. But it appears that it can't be done cause I've looked through all my folders and I'm not seeing a .htaccess file. Thanks for the help. | |||

| Well, i guess the only other server that I was used to using was my highschool server which was run by one of the students. I think I remember not having to worry about capitalization so I guess he might've changed that in our server. | |||

| Ahhh, yes, going home for the holidays, nothing better, expect for the fact that I'm not gonna be able to see all my friends for an entire month. But yeah, it'll be nice to have a bed that's as long as I am instead of a bead that's 6' front to back. And also having a bed that's less than 2' off the ground as opposed to the lofted 7'+ of my bed at school. And warm weather, who could forget the warm weather (going from northwestern Indiana to the Yay Area in California). That'll be great, and home cooked meals, and a house with a fireplace and a real Christmas Tree and parnets and a car, and old highschool friends. Ahhh, it'll be nice, but being left alone in a dorm that usually has 250 people is the most depressing thing ever, nothing to do but laundry and listen to music and stuff like that, quite boring.
I don't get to go home that often cause it's a 2.5 hour bus ride to the airport, then a 4 hour flight, then an hour long subway to my house. (edited by Young Guru on 12-18-05 11:04 AM) |

| Margot and the Nuclear So & So's - The Dust of Retreat : Great band that I heard during the warm up act for Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. I'd go so far as to say that they should've switched roles with CYHSY.
The Game - The Documentary : Very good rap album, much better than 50 Cent's new P.O.S. Gavin Degraw - Chariot/Stripped : Great mellow album with an accoustic version of every song. Snoop Dogg - Rhythm & Gangsta (the masterpiece) : New Tracks from Snoop, what could be better (definately not his best stuff though). Jason Mraz - Mr. A-Z : If you got the three pre-release tracks off iTunes then this album is even better cause only one of the songs actually made it to the album. Great follow up to a tremendous first album. Fall Out Boy - From Under The Cork Tree : Really getting into this bad recently. |

| the remake on GC is definately a lot better, it's the game the original should've been. The crimson heads, zombies that just come back to life, but run and slash and are generaly much much stronger in attack and difficulty to kill. Also, the lighting made that game increadible. RE4 was creepy the first time through when things come at you unexpectedly, like the chainsaw guy, the regenerators, and such. I had no idea how to kill the regenerator the first time through, never got the thermal scope, so i'd sit back with the rifle and blow off it's legs and just unlease and pray I killed it, having no idea what i actually needed to do. And the guys with the long claws, they were crazy. | |||

Solar power is a huge startup expense but after a while it's only maintainance costs which makes for a wise investment if you plan on staying in the same place for a long time, like 10+ years. Also, the weather isn't really the big issue with solar power it's more the amount of time that the sun is out during the day which is why people further north or south can't really use solar panels because there are large periods of time without much sun during the day whereas people between the two tropics get more than enough sun exposure for solar to be a viable investment. I know when I'm capable of getting a house I'll probably take a very serious look into solar panels, gotta do what you can to keep the world going strong to support all of us who live on it. |

| Some entertaining comercials though, "Hey guys, hurry up, the magic fridge is back."
And way to go JB, former ND guy from my dorm, we were all excited for that win. It was a very bizzare game, considering how much it felt like the Seahawks controlled the field but never converted when they should've scored. |
