| It is funny. I was sitting around bored as all hell and thought "shit, I wonder what is happening to my old forum? Have I ruined beneficii, the poor guy?". I came back and looked and thought "holy shit, people have posted in this thread". Now, you'll all see that I've a wealth of life experiences relating to drugs. More than nearly everyone else at this board.
First isse - marijuana as an aggressive agent as stipulated in the last post. Bull. Shit. I've been around stoners for the past 8 years, consistently. I've been one, off and on, for nearly as long. Plain and simple. None of my many, many, many experiences lend creedence to this. Marijuana depresses people will to do things. Very rarely will a person who is on marijuana be willing to do anything beyond what they need to do. Second issue - you're not a crazy bastard. You're from Kansas. The only crazy bastards from Kansas are the band by that name. Grow the fuck up. Third issue - crutchijuana. You know how many time I've heard this argument? More times than you. It takes a fucking weak-willed moronic person to become dependant on a non-addictive agent. In fact, I know a lot of weak-willed moronic people. None of them are addicted to pot. This is a lie perpetuated by other weak-willed moronic people that could smoke pot, not get addicted, but are too moronic to see through the haze of lies surrounding the substance. In addition they don't even have the spine to go out and look at other research sources. Back in the day when I gave two flying craps about marijuana I waded through more than a thousand pages of documents a month on it. I still have many printoffs and excerpts from books on the topic. You know what I learned? That the drug needs to be studied more from a policy angle rather than conservative moralistic bullshit angles or libertarian "do what you want" angles. In addition, the medical research is starting to pile up. Like how marijuana is actually helpful in treating cancer. That it doesn't have any real carcinogenic properties. Things like that. Croxadon's little "I'm going to cry list" is another issue I have with this. 1) Vyper asserts this as well as 2). Mostly because of lame-ass American moralistic bullshit policy regarding drugs. 3) no one really has a reason. There are other treatments that they can take. 4) sure he will. If you looked at your own questions with the (I hope). affixed to them then you'd realize that he can get into a fuckton of trouble via the legal system. 5) if your job hinges on you not doing drugs than that is a lame as fuck job. I had to do a drug test at the factory I was applying to. I drink every night, not going to lie. I have a glass of redwine and a beer or two. They questioned why I have alcohol in my bloodstream and I explained to them that this, like pretty much all things drink related, is customary in my family. 6) who actually smokes it with their parents? I've caught my dad doing it. I've smoked it with my friend's parents. You know, things like that. THC pills...What is the point of that? It is for becoming hungry. Lacing pot? If you see little razor blades, tiny blue rocks, or a thin white powder over it...it is like Halloween time. I don't suggest you smoke it. It is pretty fucking hard to lace pot and actually get someone who knows what they're doing to smoke it. Wasting money? Why the fuck are you wasting time on the internet!? Don't criticize people for completely stupid points! And Croxadon, I checked your profile. You're 16. Why the hell are you lecturing people? You don't know anything about the drug, obviously. And what is more...you're 16! That's an even more annoying age than any other age! You know why? Because you make dunder-headed statements. Feel invincible and assume that you're always right. Grow up a little bit and gain some real world experiences and then maybe...MAYBE...you'll be worthy of having an opinion to be taken seriously. |

| Why in the flying hell would you trust a dude pointing an M16 at you and a pregnant woman in your car? Do you honestly think the majority of the population love having the occupational force running about and turning into fucking Crusaders? Face it. Iraqis aren't go to pay any kindness nor harbour any trust to a group of people that are willing to (in revenge, no less) kill 24 innocent civilizians or randomly slaughter 11 women and children. You know? For the hell of it. They trust them even less because they're an external force that is bringing an ideology that is alien to most of them. In addition they're seen as anti-ethical and aren't doing anything to prove that wrong. Again, I ask. Why in the flying hell would you trust these people? | |||

| Germany taking it? I'd love it. I've got my Germany jersey sitting right in front of me...ready for going down to the German culture centre on Friday to drink Becks and rock the footy. However, realistically, it is Brazil. They've got the same team as last year. A team of super players. I mean sure, German finally scrapped Kahn in favour of the better Lehhman and has a pretty good set of players that are going to strike out and bring some hurt. Too bad Brazil has genetically engineered their players to be overly offensive and unstoppable.
Mind you, I'd <3 to see my heritage nation devestate this world cup. Ukraine deserves it all. Hell, I've also got a Ukraine jersey that I'm going to be wearing on June 14th when we show the Spainish who is who. I mean I'm confident after we stomped Costa Rica and drew Italy. Them ain't easy tasks. I mean, even the qualifier was decent. Denmark and Greece? Thems again ain't easy digs. Ukraine has a really strong team. I am confident we'll make it past the first round. Depending on who we play we might even make it further! Maybe we'll pull a Croatia 98 or something! Oh well. It all starts on Friday which means I will not be sober for the better part of a month. |

| Theologically speaking, it wouldn't matter. Christ is both fully man and fully divine. | |||

| The connection of Holy Grail to this whole thing started up with morons not getting Mediaeval humour. The whole thing is very modern and really disconnected from many Early Christian writings.
I'm going to go ahead and break the truth - it is not supposed to be translated as Sangreal. Graal comes from gradalis. Thinking otherwise is stupid. |

| No you don't.
If you had read my post rather than gleening what you wanted from it I made the distinction that the GRAIL MYTHOS relating to CHRIST AS A FATHER OF A CHILD AND MARY MAGADELENE AS MOTHER OF CHILD is modern. Why in the flying hell would the Church cover this up? It doesn't mean anything. Absolutely anything to Catholics. There is no theological grounding that said that Christ had to remain celibate, unmarried, and without children. The fact that He was of divinity does not mean that His blood-children would be. His children would be born of the womb and the act as a human is. Christ was born of a supernatural miracle through which He manifested Himself in the womb of Mary and became known as Jesus. Hence...TRINITARIAN BELIEFS OF MAINSTREAM CHRISTIANITY...yaaay! |

neo - draft dodgers were huge in Vietnam. In fact they're an integral part of Canadian culture It was an unpopular war and you didn't want to be flown over to beautiful Laos to become known as a baby killer when you got back. The stigmas attached to veterans following the war (by the anti-war lobby for being involved in a reprehensible war and by the war supporters for them losing the war) were seen before the conflict ended. Soldiers didn't want to come back to an America that wouldn't forgive them. |

Yeah, but those are what are called the "laity". The average Catholic hasn't really sat down and read encyclicals or studied much theology. The average one is going to be all up in arms, which is what the Church wants because it is publicity, while not understanding the doctrine. Again, on theological grounds...it wouldn't really matter if Christ had had a child with a hooker in East Harlem named Chokolundra. He is the son of God. He performed the miracles. He is the saviour. He is both fully man and fully divine. Again, theologically speaking, he can do whatever a dude does. Just because no one that was chilling with him before/after his death wrote about his wife might mean that it is simply placing emphasis on his teachings and miraculous childhood rather than a biography of his later life. And before YOU say anything one of my closest friends is a seminarian and I live in an all men Catholic college
billiards that doesn't change the fact that you went ahead and fucking misread what I said. I said that there was a disconnect between the MODERNIZATION OF THE GRAIL MYTH and EARLY CHRISTIAN WRITINGS. |

| I don't care if he had a child. It wouldn't make a lickin' diff to me. It might to some hard-liners on some sides of Christianity, but to those that worship with a brain it won't matter.
But I have stated that it really doesn't matter if he has had a child. It wouldn't shake any sort of fundamental foundation. The Roman emperors had children, who according to the imperial cult religion, were not gods. Other imperial cults are similar. |

| Demons and Wizards s/t album
Always an amazing listen. I'd been gone for the better part of a year from my home...leaving behind all of my possessions in boxes and storage. So, when I got home the first thing I did was rip my CDs out of their box, put them on a shelf...and listen. I have a lot less CDs than I used to. Just over 150. Given that my old collection was approaching 450 you can see how big of a drop that is. I just kept my favourites - although I do regret getting ride of 300 CDs. It is somewhat crushing knowing that alot of those CDs are probably only one of a handful of copies that made it over to North America from Scandinavia or Russia. But at least I'm spreading the music around by selling it to used CD stores! Needless to say I came to the last CD in the stack today, which was Demons and Wizards. By God I love it. I got the Pop-Up digipack of the album, which makes it double cool. Needless to say I'm torn between putting this and Night At The Opera on infinite replay for all time in my CD player. |

| And stopping at the check points gets you killed too! Who knows, maybe that Marine is going to blow your brains out all over the road because his buddy was killed in a bombing yesterday. Why in the FUCK would you trust the occupational force in your nation? Moreover, the damned Iraqi police force is so infiltrated by the insurgency that when they set up check points on the road the people crossing them are kidnapped and other shit. Again, it is a war zone. You don't trust those that are attacking your nation and killing your countrymen in revenge killings.
Americans didn't trust the British in the Revolution. Why should Iraqis trust the Americans during their occupation? |

| But, if you've been reading this thread, the Gnostic scripts that this whole whack a doo is based on DOES say that Christ was married. |
