I'd say maybe it's a better idea to make posting threads (as opposed to replying to them) approve-only, because this forum has a fair bit of lurkers, who may not want to wait for the approval before giving feedback on an editor/hack, or asking for help, etc. Because while it's not hard to make an approval thread, sometimes us adminitators are too busy banning idiots who post llama porn to approve users. I also approve of a 48-hour lurking period before a user can even post, or possibly even only 24-hours. I'm not particularly for the idea, but not against it. Leaning closer to for than against.

I have to admit, because of the approval only (I suppose) I can actually browse the SMW forums without feeling like an idiot now, however it seems to be having detrimental effects on this forum (such as SMW and pokemon threads being posted here, as if this weren't a "general rom hacking" forum, and more of a "We're rejects" forum)

The whole "attempted suicide" thing somewhat sickens me, I know, it's TO, anything is possible, but I know lots of people who take excess painkillers as an attempt to get high, or just because the perscribed amount wasn't enough, it goes for all perscription drugs, really. It seems they're usually either abused, or sold 75% of the time, and yes that's a made-up percentage based on the people I've known.

As for football, I'm looking foward to some good things from the panthers, and possibly the redskins. And boo-hoo steelers :'( (quit sucking you guys, For a second I thought we had maddox back in)

I might be able to get sliver-x to be working on a DW hack with me, and if I can convince him we should be working on the SNES version (as opposed to me having to write routines so I have more tiles to use in the NES version). These were thrown together shortly after talking with him.

Googie: I've never actually played Solomon's Key much, but I have played fire & ice, which I understand is the sequel. I totally suck at it

So today I thought maybe this old PCI ATI RAGE 128 I have might be better than my onboard INTEL EXTREEEMEEEE. I was wrong, I suffered a severse decrease in framerate and so-forth. seriously. I can run NWN fine with this PoS onboard, but with that ATI 128 card, I was getting a frame every few seconds. I had to physically remove the card for my on-board to activate again.

it was crazy, in my computer's bay domain.
