Wow...
Although it is awesome, there is still some small glitches. 1. Put two ending (or what so-called because my English sucks) to the covenyor belt, otherwise, it seems rather strange. 2. 7th screenshot: Do not use that YI backgrounds with boos and eeries, but , you may change the palette into a darker one, it fits the theme. 3. 6th screenshot: The ledge does not have an edge, add one. By the way, register me as your Beta-tester, please. And if possible, send it to me thru E-mail (atlantis2202@126.com) instead of PM, because I don't have that. World 3-S1 World 2-4 Like Riverside Race in Donkey Kong Country 3, this is a level with a secret exit which will be activated when it is finished under 100 seconds. World 1-1 Nice Background. Title Screen (2-4) - Don't Forget to check World 3 Castle. - The Vertical Auto-scroller is fixed( In SMWR2, you won't be squished when you're between the edge of the screen and a ledge, but here it will. - Same as SMWR2, KT uses Japanese instead of English. I have tried to make a level with the lava rising. I put the whole building on Layer 2 and the lava on Layer 1, but when I test it, Mario does not appear in the right position. It seems that the game moves Mario ~12-coins lower than he should appear.
And another problem is that sometimes I test the level. the level does not appear, and Overworld beccomes mosaic, making me very annoyed. Would the people who know the answer kindly tell me how to do it. |

You may have not noticed one thing - Some of the Overworld tile does NOT act like what it used to be. For example, There's a pipe tile that acts like a level (drainpipe level), and a pipe tile that can appear on specific event. How can he do this? | |||

In SMW+4 & MarioXworldDX, there is a trick that using the star/pipe tile to make Mario unreturnable.I think, when you have 2 tiles linked to each other, replace one with a non-star/pipe tile. Then, Mario can't go back. I have tried before and it works. I don't know if my idea works on your hack or do you like my idea. | |||

Solar Soundtrack project is a tough one(I think). Maybe we have to wait for some more months(even years). To tell the truth, I can hardly believe that this project can be finished, since it is long time since I heard of it(when I first found Acmlm's I knew about it)
But, I have a question, too... There is no sound of Super Mario Odyssey since its last demo in 2004. Anyone knows if it will release another demo, iced/cancelled or we have to wait till 2007 to see its final release? |

Like the thread"Useful hints for SMW hackers", this is useful hints for SMW level designing. I make this thread in order to make every SMW hack more enjoyable.
And, get rid of some boring levels.(BUT NOT BUMPING OLD THREADS) Like this: Put many throwable blocks in front of a timed lift to make the level much harder. And, don't forget to put a right number before you post. It will be better if you post a picture of it. Thanks. |

To all of the people who use a HUGE layout:
Don't use them anymore because it's hard to read! Oh, well, making level fun is necessary. And, Bowser's Castle with flowers??? What do you mean? Flower is just a powerup. Bonus areas? None of the hacks contains no bonus areas. And, I mean how to place object/sprite to make fun levels, not advice for SMW hackers again. Put a picture please. Thanks. |

Well, good work.
But you need to work on the Ice world and Sky World pallete. It's a bit weird. Why are your castles sometimes has white layer 2 ground (I don't know what it is called) sometimes don't and sometimes it have inactive(dark color)one? About Bowser's Castle entrance... I think you don't have to use those red shining things... You can make Mario go to the main entrance after beating the back door level.(From Luigi's Adventure) The fist is a little ... eh... And, you forgot to put 3, 4, 5, etc. signs near the castle. There is a serious mistake seeming to happen in every OW: Make heights/mounts on your OW have the correct height, that's common sense. |
