Cause of death: TRIMSPA, BABY!

(Too soon?)

Really, I didn't see THAT coming. Thought she'd be too hardcore for death.

Commander Shyguy: Keep that up and you'll be busted down to private. (See... what I did there was make fun of you based on your screen name... and and...)

Yeah, there's an official thread for the NBA, and this so got off on the wrong foot. (CAH-LOSE)

The sad part is that this happens AFTER they've already shipped out troublemaker Stephen Jackson as well as the infamous Ron Artest. They're reminding me of the NFL's Bengals right about now...

Oh, come on, what the hell else is there to do in Indiana?

Speaking of nothing going on, how 'bout them Celtics? Picked the right year to go in the tank, yes?

You guyyyyyyyyyys, this girl I've been spending plenty of time with lately seems to be quite taken with the DDR franchise. She's also the only person I know who can clear just about anything on Heavy. Safe to say she's a keeper?

Thrift stores, really. Although I'd seen used games at a now-shuttered music store.

That controller's the U-Force, I believe. Even LESS memorable than the Power Glove. (Ones who does not Love the Glove can't get in, by the way.) And they have some odd pricing schemes at the Salvation Army stores around here, if you're comparing them strictly to Goodwill. CD's tend to be more expensive, but I made off with a thief's haul of consoles and games for $20 because they were trying to unload them and make room for more in the way of, like, "toasters and blenders".

As for their purpose, even if I'm in a higher tax bracket than their customer base, they look at any sales, no matter who's buying their stuff, as helping the mission. So it's fine with them, I guess.

And as for a Sega Master System for $10... I wouldn't get ANY console at a thrift store that's more than $10* unless it has enough stuff bundled with it. That's hardly ripping them off, considering I got two Genesises (Genesii?) for maybe $12, total.

* Editor's note: Exceptions have been made for the NES because of the whole new connector = PROFIT thing and all.

Her name, yes, Kurt Cobain's, no.

And everyone knows she didn't do it. Samoa Joe did. I mean, there's a reason that when he enters the ring, fans chant "Joe's Gonna Kill You".

But seriously, the big thing is that this is going to get OOGLY. The wrangling over her estate, and more importantly, her daughter, can only end badly. A shame no matter who it is.
